1. Their boldness has impressed me so much , and bold women and Thier desires and grey shades in Thier character are rare in ITV , as in shows they are either abla bechare or extremely evil .

Even a movie was banned in our country just because it was portraying women desires and true feelings and boldness .

2. Mere dimag me yeh bat aayi nahi , koi bat nahi agli Baar "progressive men of BB" karke kuch likhenge usme inn dono ko mention kar denge

I really appreciate the post 👏if you had not mentioned rimjhim “daughters of Das family could have been a name too)

They do have strong women in their family

Driven by their own mind (whatever they believe)

And I must say amazing presence of mind in each character (I wish it is a constant in Bondita but she is driven so many times by her emotions) they should show her as a planner, somebody who is able to understand multiple dynamics and plan her next move accordingly in contrast to Anirudh who acts only on impulse (only good thing is they have good morals and are on right track)

They are

A stark contrast to Roy Chaudhary’s especially in terms of gender presence ( 5 men family vs 5 women family), their personalities and mindset

TRC vs Kalindi ( both have similar mindset but different approaches to that mindset - where both believe women need to stay in boundaries but for different reasons)

Anirudh vs Bondita (not vs though, but their approach to issues is different whereas their mindset is same too, if freedom, equality and questioning the wrong)

Somnath vs Tupur ( not actually against each other but still, they seem a little selfish don’t want to say much and are smart enough to pull of their stunts like Tupur recently did and how som abducted Bondita making popat of everyone)

Batuk vs Tapur ( supporters of anidita, driven by love for their siblings, and I am hoping some day Batuk is brought back and they can support anidita)

I want to see these dynamics explored and all together

A very well written post👏

Women (especially the daughters) of the Das family are really well written and kinda well justified for their behaviour.

Although I can't justify their actions but I can understand them for their behaviour. They truly have a strong reason for how they turned out to be.

Whereas Bon's Mama Mami, Sampoorna, and currently Sumati are just chameleons, but treated as grey shaded characters by the writers.

In initial episodes some of the Bondita's dialogues mentions him , which clearly shows that he was too a progressive man w and if not progressive (as it is never cleared in the show) he loved his daughter immensely ,

From her dialogues about her father clearly shows that he was the one who installed questioning nature in her and never wanted her to be a child bride and often used to she if he can't change things for his daughter then Dugga ma will give her such a husband who will fight for her and will bring change for her that he wanted . One of those dialogues is "Didi (referring to sampoorna) ,Baba hi toh kahte the ki tark se hi toh fark padega , isliye toh main tark Karti hu " (I don't remember the exact words but it's meaning was same) ,

And Saudamini asked her about her father she said she doesn't mention him often because after his death her mother loves her a lot , and also told that he restricted sumati from teaching her cooking and told that there is no need to Bondita to enter kitchen until she becomes an adult
