I totally agree that Das ladies are very well written... They are not plain and ine dimensional characters.. they have various shades to their characters...

I never thought that one day I would end up liking Tupur...but here we are...she is really growing on me...

And Tapur... She is the only innocent soul in this whole BB world... (Except for Shashwati and the kids... And also Bihari Babu)

And about TM... As much regressive as she is... Her character shade is justified...writers have shown us why she became the way she is...but I feel that had the things didn't turn out the way they dis, TM would have been a very much like Bon...(I may be wrong)

Rimjhim showed us that even though you are living with so much restrictions... It's always possible to find little moments of happiness...

And Bon... What do I say about her... She is one of the best ITV FLs ever written... She is bold... She knows what she wants... And she never shy away from asking it...

And very well written post dear... ❤️

Yes. Tapur is the only one beside Anirudh who truly loves Bondita. I hope she gets the happiness she deserves.

There is nothing bold in Sumo. She can only create hurdles in her daughter's way to happiness by emotionally blackmailing her just because her daughter loves and obeys her. She is na kaam ki na kaaj ki dhai mann anaj ki.

Well, I wish Tupur would have wanted an out from the so called relationship with that monster but like you said it's ingrained in her to treat husband as everything even if he doesn't deserve it at all.

There is something progressive in most members of the Das family. Even Shaumik for that matter. That his wife gave him only daughters in atleast 12 years of marriage, means that even Shaumik would have had to hear 'suggestions' to remarry. However, he didn't. Rather, he loves his wife so much, that he was willing to brave TM's wrath and indulge in this elaborate Baba charade just to spend quality time with his wife. He is also one of the loyal men in BB. And a man who loves his wife, daughters and niece and wants the best for them.

So while he is a bit of a coward, he has hidden strength and immense love in him.

Bondita father raised Bondita like a son never let her do anything fulfilled her demands

Bondita father raised her the best way , Sumati wanted to make her regresisve but her father made her to ask questions and alawyad aid Bondita mera maan hai

Bon is made tark sudnari by her father who did not get chance to make Bon study but he realised questions in her

Bon got boldness and fierceness storm tm

Bon is progressive version of tm

Actually the topic of this post can be “members of Das family”

Coz as much as I remember Bondita’s father was also a progressive man

He liked and taught Bondita to question whenever she wanted or needed

Unfortunately only Sumati is a disappointment

I read this recent article of the actor playing sumati

And she has said that there has been a revamp of characters or their characteristics which will make Sumati stronger

But how it is portrayed in the show says completely different thing

She seems like an ungrateful, ehsaan faramosh human, with no brain of hers, she is blinded by dushmani ( for no particular reason) and is extremely disrespectful to Anirudh who in his own way and actually in every possible way has kept Bondita safe and protected and for that matter Alive

For 8 years even when he was completely stuck in this dushmani web he kept her daughter safe and unaware of all the mess so that she could breathe easy and free

whereas if he wanted and was actually trying to do dushmani he had Bondita at his mercy and could have caused severe harm to her.

But of course Anirudh is a gem of a person, a well written character, a man of dreams. The man is himself a dream come true. And even before confession we all know he loved Bondita irrespective of anything that happened around them.

This is what is upsetting me about Sumati

I have liked Thakuma so much more - atleast she is not two faced

If she hates something she says it and proves it

She only stooped to low when she tried to manipulate Bondita to hurt Roy Chaudhary’s

Yes it can be but there are 2 reasons for this post for being women of Das family :

1. Their boldness has impressed me so much , and bold women and Thier desires and grey shades in Thier character are rare in ITV , as in shows they are either abla bechare or extremely evil .

Even a movie was banned in our country just because it was portraying women desires and true feelings and boldness .

2. Mere dimag me yeh bat aayi nahi , koi bat nahi agli Baar "progressive men of BB" karke kuch likhenge usme inn dono ko mention kar denge

I really want Bondita to take front seat now

And baja daloing of every character that is mad for this dushmani

Now it is her time to shine and be dhaal of her sakhababu

Let her do chillam chilli and DJ sessions and I want to see an amazed Anirudh right behind her enjoying his own creation

Like he was super proud and amazed when chhoti Bondita had stolen men’s clothes coz they used to harass women at ghat

I have loved his look for her

Bondita is not a child anymore they need to treat her the right way

I agree she cannot behave like Anirudh coz they are different people different characters

But she has been said to have a way of putting logic that everyone shuts up

But she has never done that ever or properly till now

I wanted her to speak during Panchayat but that never happened but I understand the track was of Anirudh realisation

But now they can explore that dimension

It is high time Anirudh fights

It is now Bondita’s turn

I want her to show them mirror and tell TRC how he is responsible for the condition of ARC in 8years

And I want her to give cold shoulder to Sumati for as long as possible

And do those taunt thing to Sumati and Thakuma

That she had done with Anirudh
