It was certainly the magic pill brought in by the new writer that brought in the change in the present track.😆But unlike the makers who never show the root cause of all Devakshi's problems, I can say for sure that the root cause which triggered the change in track as well as the writer of the show is the low trp garnered by the show.😂😅

Yup, that is right. Low trp. People waited for 5 years to see Devakshi, not some horrible baby swap and Ayush Ayush Ayush rant. It was frustrating. Even if not done well, this forthcoming Devakshi storyline will do better than than the Disneyland that they were showing before. This time, hopefully, the focus will be on the lead couple!

It's not about Durjoy ! It's the makers. They went ahead to bring another installment to their most successful venture till date to mint money , without having a story to tell. The result is for all to see.

And with 3 kids and 10 years between , aren't they expected to change ? Instead of showing them adapting to the changes in the other , they have literally pressed the reset button .

I guess they waited for about a month to see if the audience accepted the child swap and the distant Devakshi track but the Devakshi fans were impatient to watch the Devakshi moments & were demanding the same from the makers. Added to that, the krpkab fans who were expecting some good storyline were put off by the child swap, the excessive toxic bond of Deveshwari & the continuous negativity shown in the episodes & stopped watching it resulting in an even lower trp. The only option left to them was to attract the audience by bringing in some positivity & happiness in the show by introducing their trump card, that is the romantic Devakshi & their magical moments. Hence we get to watch their coffee dates, yoga sessions & their romantic dances while the major issues are brushed aside hopefully for a future date .😓 Right now their primary focus is to bring in more audience & increase the trps of the show so as to avoid the show going off air.

I will be ok if they completely brush of last 1 month episodes. Let them start fresh with fresh issues only between leads and enough of bachcha party. Last one month story was unbearable.

It is really sad to see how a 3-letter word “trp” robs the audience of an opportunity to watch anything meaningful on itv these days. Also it’s even more sad to see writers and makers of a show fighting a failing battle between good storytelling and the race to be on-air. As a creative writer who doesn’t want to write anything meaningful and be appreciated for it? Miss the good old days of DD being the only option to watch. Tv shows then had an integrity to them, they were meaningful and most of all respectful towards audience’s intelligence. Wish I too could press a reset button to the good old days like in this show.

I am very curious to find out, who in their creative team thought that this baby swap will be a great crowd-puller! Who came up with the bright idea that let's introduce lots of kids, that will rope everyone in!

Dialog writers were terrible in writing the Dev-Ishwari conversations. It was too weird.

Those DD shows were class apart. I so loved kashish, neem ka ped, dekh bhai dekh. Byom bhakshi, farman, even that letter reading surbi also I used enjoy. Ramayan n mahabharat n tipu sultan was another level of excitement. I hv not seen such classic shows in any channel. They were simple n classy. DD shd consider airing them again in OTT platform. I would love to watch them.

They aired Ramayan and Mahabharat during the lockdown and boy! Was that a huge super hit! The whole country seemed to be glued to them!

Sony never had great trps to boast of anyway apart from the BALH era which was 7-8 years ago . So I doubt TRP has anything to do with it . The baby swap was not palpable anyway , irrespective of numbers. They brought about this season , just to cash in on the previous hype and also on the hype of two top tier actors on TV now . They had no story to tell and if they did the execution was extremely poor .

Ideally they should have gone the QH2 route and gone on web and limited it to 20 episodes .
