Nope, they cannot

Hera Pheri had a fabulous character arc for the friends trio. The movies you mentioned were pretentious to be honest.

Not putting Kai Po Che in the poll was a mistake.

Dil Chaata Hai for me because we witnessed the growth of the three protagonists into adulthood.

Unpopular opinion but I think the movie would have been on another level altogether if Akash had ended up with the girl who was crazy about him instead of Shalini.

But it was such a nice setup for Akshay's story. When Akshay talks to her and asks why does she want Akash despite knowing he doesn't want her. And the same basically ends up happening with Akshay😔
