Honestly I am seeing only for the forum 🤣 I am not as enamoured by KD- he is good but I can't see him being a SP bahu. I want the Shiva with a swagger 🤷‍♀️ Alice is good, but Raavi is a terrible character. They have killed all characters I like before- Dhara, Gautam, Suman, even Krish. Rishitha is ok sometimes 😕

Now I just laught through most of the scenes, even emotional ones. what is the point in even getting angry 😕

I can’t believe they have transformed Shiva with a swag to a SP bahu😕 in a matter of 5 months. Usually it takes ML’s to lose their swag in 1 yr (happened in IPKKND) but here everything is phast phast😆

It is so disheartening to see some of the comments in the MF, Prema. Many are of the belief that what is wrong in changing Shiva- he should behave gentlemanly like his brothers.

@bold, The only change I want to see is him not manhandling Raavi... especially when she is in pain 🤢. I didn't mind the aggressiveness pre-marriage because I felt as thought Raavi was comfortable with Shiva. She wasn't flinching, she knew how to fight back, and most importantly, she seemed safe. It seemed to be their "thing" and who am I to come in between.

Haveli Shiva, pre-Dhara kaand, was my favorite Shiva. He was quickly becoming the type of guy that I would actually consider marrying. He was someone who loved family, he was fierce enough to protect others, he was quick on his toes, he was intelligent and resourceful, he was a prankster, his happiness made him so handsome! I loved Shiva!

With each track, he is losing a core part of his personality...

Dhara's danda --> prankster is gone

Maami's kangan --> intelligence and resourceful is muted

Divorce kaand --> happiness is gone

He's becoming more plain and plain... there's a reason not many people can connect to Dev... he doesn't know what to fight for... don't turn Shiva into that too 😕

Did you see Shiny’s latest interview with Raj Badhan. She is so delusional to the core, I can’t even begin to tell you why she is so wrong. I only read the WU of the interview and in no mood to watch it.

She calls

GauRa, a mature couple

DevTa, a practical/family oriented couple

ShVi, a ladaku couple.

She also says that fans are constantly asking for more GauRa romance😕 -

I posted in the DT that there is a clear difference between how Shiny plays Dhara and how Sujitha plays Dhanam. I will take Dhanam over Dhara and Sujitha over Shiny any day. Sujitha has been acting since the age of 3 and her deaf/mute child acting with a veteran like Sathyaraj in Faazil’s movie, Poovizhi Vasalile is enough to eat Shiny up. I myself was a child back then, cried profusely watching that movie,

I haven't watched the past two episodes yet, but I read the LUs and the beating really upset me. I just don't understand how a family is this ignorant. They supposedly love him but in my eyes, they seem like complete strangers at this point for the way they treat Shiva. What else does he need to do to have somebody just sit down with him and speak to him nicely, ask him what's wrong, why he feels this way, why he wants to do what he's doing. It's not healthy for him to bottle up all his emotions. I wish he had someone. This family has taken advantage of him time and again, at every step of the way.

As for the gentleman part, even i dont want that. His personality is what drew most of us in. He is the best out of the 4 brothers according to me. He has a bit of everything within him. I don't mind him tweaking himself just a tad bit, but I don't want him to do a full 180. He won't be the same Shiva we fell in love with at the beginning if they change him completely. He needs to control his anger yes, and he can take better care of his hygiene (which I think he has been doing since his marriage), but tbh I never saw what was wrong with his clothes. Plaid shirts with a tank top are my go-to clothes as well. They're comfortable and people here even consider it stylish so I never got the reason why people always taunted him for his clothes. If he became like his brothers, he won't have his own identity. What's the point in completely changing yourself just so you can be loved? Because it won't be true love at the end if you're not loved for who you are.

Also, not saying he always behaved like a sunshine but I do see him as a doting husband in the future. But at this point, I just wish some of his essence is retained. But never know with the makers...

As for emotional abuse, I have given up on it. It is has been going for so long that he has gotten used to it but the physical abuse is in your face and every few days he gets beaten😕

Anger is definitely a yes. Shiva really needs to grow in that aspect. But in a way, isn't his anger what attracted many people in the first place 🤷‍♀️ He was a firebrand. If everyone just wanted a gentlemanly hero, then preleap Gaumbi was fantastic. Why not just run with that story 😐 They might as well could have delved into more about how they got the store out of debt.

As for clothes washing and hygiene- I think they have shown enough number of times that he is now changed. He seems to be bathing frequently. As for his clothes- he does do a lot of manual labour- if he starts wearning brand new T-shirts and nice shirts, they wouldn't last a day 🤔 Essentially he should stop doing manual labour.

But the point is- he likes doing it. It probably gives him a sense of getting something done, as opposed just sitting at the till. Why is that so mind boggling. 😕 I don't know man, the way I grew up, my grandparents and uncle just used to wear vests and lungis and roam around- it made sense for Chennai weather. I am sure Gujarat is also hot- so what if Shiva roams around in not so nice looking clothes, as long as he is comfortable in it.

This is exactly like telling housewives should not have cooking smells but must be presentable for their husbands however much work they have ( people watching SP, you know which show I am talking about. 😒 And it is a TRP topper)

@bold - Whether we like it or not, that is the direction it is going towards. We will get to see plain petticoat chaap number 3 Shiva soon which will help Raavi hold on to her non-existent self respect

I loved the mischievous Shiva- and I felt it was something Shiva and Raavi could have bonded over- Raavi also has that spark of mischief.

I wish they had shown us Raavi noticing the little things you mentioned, about Shiva. Then her breaking down in the last episode would have been impactful.

Because then it is not just about him misbehaving with her, or him hating her, it is also about discovering the person that she could not get to know over her childhood 🤷‍♀️

Really? Ya I have stopped following all interviews- GauRa, ShiVi. I don't know there is too much in-fighting and negativity. Or the actors are trying to justify their characters or storylines- what can they also do 😕 They have to promote the show and sound excited- otherwise who will watch.

Shiny's acting has gone down since Danda kaand. It is very visible 😐 Kritika has also been off the past few BTS interviews.

I just try to stick to the episodes. I don't really look forward to the BTS nowadays
