Hmm I see her fear. Like I said I don't mind her doing stupid things that hurt her also but I do mind making an innocent suffer. Life isn't black or white so I won't find her evil but I definitely can't excuse what she's doing completely. She will also be at fault for the trauma the child would go through.

Yeah. I do feel bad for her. Like a couple of people stated, she can see things are going wrong but doesn't want to acknowledge them.
