I liked IPZN for this reason, how well the costuming was thought through. It was actually funny to see how the entire cast would sometimes dress in various shades of the same color for particular scenes. Whether the characters were poor or rich, the dressing was simple and sophisticated as required. Even the loud aunty didn't wear gaudy clothes 99% of the time. It wasn't a huge budget show but that's what I mean about taste and costuming. They were very soothing to the eyes.

Also, that show had one of the best bridalwear I've seen on ITV. most of the time brides in shows look terrible but here they had brides looking royal. I will miss the show for the aesthetics, especially.

YPNTKH also had top notch costuming for both women and men, again regardless of the chracter's social status.

Its funny.just now i was ranting about weird outfits of leads of my another fav show & come here in this forum to see everyone talking on the same topic.

I guess this is a general itv problem.🤣

I agree with u.its probably something about sony.their females get better & logical dress sense than yhe usual itv fl.i agree with your ipzn & ypntkh point .i was a big fan of ypntkh's fl's dresses.Elegant or simple -she rocked both.

Personally,i feel erica got best costumes outta all itv fl.Her dresses were always relatable yet classy.

Then,again-thats also a sony show.👏

In The other channel, u will really dont find better costumes.

Probably only naira gets nice costume but those are almost never logical for real life!

She never repeats a dress in those 5/6 years??!!!in which world that's possible?

And about,raghav pallavi.yup,we can expect some casuals for raghav.But if they are intent on giving more of shirtless raghav than comfy wears,hell-im not complaining 🤣

The Ph knows that the boy is hot & they are using it to the fullest🤪

I loved pallavi's outfits from mansi's wedding. Raghav already talked her about wearing something different if she is comfortable. So,Hopefully we will get some in future.

But shivangi is really really beautiful yaar.She pulls off every types of damned sarees & jewellery so i didn’t complain till now.the girl looks like angel ❤️

I totally get the big earrings etc. Im not against that but they are some that are so gaudy looking and actually look fake IMO. I feel like they could make wear a bit more classy pieces. Just my opinion.

I watch PS and one of the girls' kameez sets are things I'd wear on Eid bc of all the sequins, net dupatta, etc. Homegirl wears this as her daily attire. I think it's rare that ITV shows show leads in simple clothing that actually match day to day style of the average person.

Dhara on PS wears simple saris at home but they look good. They arent over the top but still classy. I just fee that the handloom woven ones make her look so much older. Or they could stylize them a but different. Maybe shorter sleeve blouses, pin up the palu on the shoulder and not hang over her arm so her waist shows. Just a bit of a change. Im ok with saris for her if that’s her character.

Regarding her sarees in general - Yeah I'm over the "silk"/handloom. It ages her too much. Her old solid silk/satin ones or georgette ones were nice. But now that she's a bahu, she can't dress that simply either. Of the ones she's been wearing now, her floral organzas and the solid georgettes with the single trim are the nicest. The hot pink net ones have to GO. I'm ok with pink in general though because it looks good on Shivangi. But she could pull off soo many colors, it's like, give her some more variety.

Pink is ok. Looks great on her but wow last week we got like 5 episodes or more. Correct me if im wrong with her wearing pink. I mean space them out please.

I get why she wears sarees though - her character loves sarees & the tradition and culture behind them. We won't ever see her in western clothing unless they're on vacation or something.

I actually don't mind Raghav's style. Three piece suits are a bit much but I see men in that all the time, daily, esp if they're into fashion. It's not too far of a stretch IMO. Once in a while they could show him without the vest though. And I don't like every suit combination, but overall he gets dressed well IMO.

Raghav’s style is amazing. I have no doubts on that. His 3 pc suits are amazing. Just some days the colour combos i question but other than that his dressing is fine. He has worn jeans some days or plaid shirts on his off days. The black and white with black jacket looked hot so yeah he is fine. No complaints there. Just some colours i wonder.

No, Raghav is taller than Mandaar, but Shivangi sometimes wears heels or they switch up the camera angle. In the initial episodes she used to wear higher heels (wedges) but for some reason she doesn't anymore.

Her slippers havent had higher wedges. They look average every day wear but she doesnt look too much shorter than him. Just wondering bcoz with mandhar she was on the stool so why not with raghav?

As for RR, who wears 3 piece suits nowadays? Even if they are super rich! At least the leads are good looking so I’m able to see past all this. Hopefully the story line becomes more logical.

Their insta feed dressing/modeling pics are so good! The costume dept. should just make them wear those clothes. But I guess with the leads being new initially they wanted them to really stand out hence, the drastic clothing difference from their true personality. But simple handloom sarees for Pallavi with some added richness since she is now married to a jeweler with diamond jewelry or custom handmade jewelry would be nice change. A good costume/jewelry dept is needed. But sicku is full focused on mandaar sunny and keerti nowadays and Pallu having to stay put at D house.

People now connect Raghav with his three piece suits with three buttons undone. People connect with Pallavi with her sarees and her title saree ka dukaan. But the problem now is, their past stories about them being professionally so driven is hardly given a chance to go forward in the storyline.

What happened to pallavi's need to wear handloom sarees and Raghav's drive to take his diamond/jewelry business forward? When people marry they don't ditch their jobs. Its to manage both. Makers seems to have a problem with that.

Pallavi going to her dukaan daily and meeting customers there, Raghav going to work facing work challenges etc would make more sense. Why did makers ditch all that? Now its full Mandaar drama. 😔

I am liking the Kuch Rang Show. Now there is BALH 2 . Hopefully some sensible shows coming up till this one comes back on track (or re-watch this one from episodes 1-72) when Mr hemant prabu was director. Or just rewatch RaghVi romantic scenes or FaRag scenes because they are so nicely done.🤣

Any one fast forward on Hotstar when they see a D family member scene come on the show? that leaves me with daily 5mins of MHRW only. Earlier I used to watch the entire episode.

Biggest problem I think makers face now is about the central theme of the show - is this a family show or a romantic show for youth or a drama/revenge theme or a female centric show or a psycho killer show or a revenge track?

About the pink sarees..I think they literally shoved TAZBU on our faces because that was catching on like wildfire in social media.

But who is the costume head of this show? Pallavi's sarees need serious re-working. They are confused - should they show her wearing pre-marriage handloom, or post south indian wedding south sareers with silk borders or the new audience request of chiffon/lace/light sarees? the designer got confused.

They should ask Shivangi for her input. I have a feeling she or even the girl who plays Amrutha have good dressing sense.

I think, on Indian TV, the best clothes I’ve seen a FL wear is Sona from Kuch Rang. First season - she had pretty cotton kurtis which any simple girl can wear. It went with her character.

In season 3, she’s an established business woman, and her clothes are more stylish and suit her current personality. Her sarees are even so good, simple but really comfortable looking. Accessories are also top notch. I can just imagine Shivangi in these kind of costumes, she would sky rocket !!!! Like for now, she can stick to simple sarees, indo-western types.

I thought shivangi is tall like 5,7” 😲

Sai is 6” and with the standing hair 6,2” 😆

In todays episodes, even as tall as Shivangi is, and her heels were at least 5", she still wasn't equal height to Raghav. So they have a much larger height difference than appears on camera for the show episodes (if you're curious, the clearest place to see their real height difference is SKR bday cake bts). I've made it a point to observe the heights of all these actors a lot... bc that's just what I do LOL 🤣.... I came to the conclusion that SKR is either same height as Ashok (Mandar) or 1-2 inch taller. SKR has taller hair too so it adds to his height.

Yeah i used to admire Sona’s clothes a lot. Simple but elegant. I haven’t watched season 3 so dont know what her clothing style is but is s3 good?

I think she is 5’6”. I remember reading that somewhere and saying oh she is 2 inches taller than me. Sai would be taller and i also remember her saying that she would like to have his height.

In today’s episode while she is standing with the 4 inch heels, he is kneeling on the bed and he reaches her height and then when he stands up he is about two inches taller. So in reality he might be like 6’2” or something.

Sona (Erica) clothes are so good! thats why I mentioned her clothes choices in another post and given that shivangi has Erica's similar face cut, height and body type, the similar clothing style will elevate shivangi's beauty further.

Sona wears stunning yet simple sarees with beautiful minimalist yet elegant jewelry - i think she puts in a lot of work on her look. Her youtube channel has so many makeup tips that its fun to browse.

Shivangi looked stunning in red shrug and white top/jeans. The makeup today was on point as well. Hope they got someone new to do her dressing and makeup.
