The gradual progression between these two characters post the 8 years of separations has been so wonderfully portrayed by these actors.
There was a time when Ani hesitated to touch Bon or removed his hand the moment he realized he had it upon her being, now, they have reached a point where he confidently pulls her into his arms, touches her as if she is the most precious being in the entire world for him and caresses her as if she is made of the finest porcelain.

Their gradual progression has been so beautifully depicted. It still amazes me how Anirudh progressed from hesitating to even touch her when she was a little kid, to now touching her freely like this with no hesitation or fear, so respectfully, and so lovingly. ❤️
The cherry on top is when Anchal reacts to his little act by making Bon feel self aware and looking down.
