Yes.... I think there are two issues here. One is that like @sudharies has pointed out, no better reaction from CN was to be expected. This is how they have always been. And the way in which Pakhi acted was also (in my opinion) to be expected. She is incapable of accepting fault, and today's episode was just another indication of that. So, all in all, today's episode was an exact replication of many scenarios we have seen in this show before. Sai was turned into the villian when she tried to expose VirAkhi (from the POV of the family), and now, the same has been done with Samrat, their own son.

But, all of this is distinct from what is bothering the audience. The reason why fans are so angry (in my opinion) is they know that PH and creatives have a favoritism for the actress that plays Pakhi and her character. Yes, RK got away with things in KD as well, but it is my understanding, that Pakhi has been victimized on an entirely different level here. Even after she pushed Sai on her birthday, the reaction from CN was not the same as it was in KD. Everything is copy pasted, and yet, so much originality comes out when it comes to Pakhi's character. And in the process of trying to victimize her character (which the makers should know by now is not going to work), they butcher other characters.....

I don't know if this makes sense, but this is just my perspective.

@bold this pretty much sums up everything. She is never at fault or will accept her mistake. Before Ladakh trip too she runs away when Sai asks would you be ok if I come she was trying to run away when Sai questioned her interest in Virat and him sleeping outside and today she ran away again. She is a sadistic coward who lives off of making other peoples life miserable. She wanted Virat to be miserable, she tortures Sai day in and day out and still considers she hasn't done anything wrong 🤣

I just pointed this out earlier in the thread too. The fact that they dragged Samrat's entry this entire week and then rushed past the actual accountability dialogues is just so frustrating.... they drag out everything related to Pakhi and her victimization but then rush SaiRat's conversations and all of their scenes....

Nobody in the audience sympathizes with her....

Guess it is to present her in a 'not very unfavourable' way...

If they wanted to do that, they should have toned down her crimes...

It's really disappointing. We have not signed up to see her on our screen and getting sympathy from the characters without even one episode of redemption.

At least today's episode, we could have seen some anger, some shame. Tomorrow they could've got back to normal.

@bolded: If you watch the offscreen segments of the actress, directors, or any of the other actors, they will all sing bajans about how Pakhi is the victim in this show. This is the reason why the audience gets frustrated...because the makers are deliberately going out of their way to create this narrative by using their creativity, but all of their creativity goes out the door when it goes to SaiRat....

If she had to be shown itni positive, then it could have been shown Sai herself calls Aju or so, aisa actions deke phir why to defend😆

As in, if they want to save that character, they could change tracks, like they toned down the Ajinkya track ,par yaha they make her vile, vile, viler🤣

Yes, I don't really understand...

The family knows that Virat and Pakhi had something between them but they believe that it was all over before Samrakhi wedding. Atleast the senior members feel so. What they don't know is how lusty is bhabhi after her devar. (Although BK would still go masta ha masta). Had Samrat spoken about him Pakhi and Virat's call, everyone would have known his anguish. Nevermind.

This was a moment of reckoning for Pakhi but it turned into victimising her.
