Exactly- Dostana was offensive beyond belief, but it was a time when you could get away with such nonsense. Today, creators are held slightly more accountable- though I have a feeling it was less due to the horrible jokes, and more because 'homosexuality is too edgy' for Star- rishta wohi, soch not nayi, you know.

And Farag friendship is one of the purest, most wholesome things in this show. Why would they try to add such a crude angle to it, and in such a cringe way? 😣 It was totally unnecessary and I couldn't wait for it to get over

I thought Pallu's teasing was fine though. If your partner doesn't for once think you to be in a relationship with your bestie, that's not a bestie 🤣

Thank god for that. Not every relationship need a twisted angle. But agreed to what Bee and you said. Pallu's scene was more about teasing Raghav unlike Amma who was trying to push Farad (literally shooed him from the room) away based on her assumptions.
