Twisted interviews! [Saishi]

I am going at a tangent here. I know most of you might have already seen and discussed about it. But I felt like talking about it when I first saw it yesterday.

This channel Buzz Bollywood took separate interviews for Shivangi and Sai. And I was astounded by the way she twisted Shivangi's words at the wrong moment to completely give Sai the impression that she bad mouthed him. I mean seriously?

Shivangi appreciated the effort Sai put while dancing and just suggested he might need practice to improve. She even said he is such a great actor that whatever skills he lacks in foot tapping he makes up in expressions. And the interviewer told Sai only the bit where she said he is not a great dancer.... read here... after Sai revealed he had put a lot of effort and practiced a hell lot for the Bharatnatyam sequence.

His expressions clearly told he was put out and a bit disappointed hearing the interviewers words. He had told before that maybe in future there might be another bharatnatyam scene... which didn’t happen.

All thanks to that idiot interviewer and her insensitivity. Sai must have refused to do that again thinking it didn't come out as well as he had initially thought.

The issue is that Sai and Shivangi have become famous overnight - so famous, that they actually require a PR person/manager to filter all this nonsense out for them. However, they're still relatively new in this sect of the industry and so that addition isn't entirely justifiable either.

It's what we call a "Catch-22" the way I see it. Abhi itne bade stars bhi nai hain ke PR manager ho, lekin itne bade hain ke all sorts of self-proclaimed journalists want to eat their brains!

Yeah she did that...I also saw it and I was like, wait, what?? She didn't say that!!

But Sai is mature, and so is Shivangi. They've come so far by themselves, I'm sure they can filter out a lot of crap, though it may get to them initially. Sai seems to be very strong headed. But it was highly unethical for a journalist to pull such stunts.

Side note : I had no idea that Sai isn't a trained dancer after watching his Bharatnatyam or even the other sangeet dance he did. It was fabulous.

Shivangi is more sorted out, I am sure they would have watched and discussed the journalists intent and methods of misquoting certain statements for her own benefit.
