Lol koi redeeming quality nhi hai.

Have you read the greatest love story ever written

“ Love in the time of cholera”

In that after separation the man male protagonist go in to multiple relationships ( sleep around) as result of heart break

He never move on in his life nor do could forget his love so he starts finding ways to reduce pain of loosing his love.

Dev case is also like that

Modern times we are living now dating don’t called sleeping around

😂😂

He didn't date though. Usne khudne hi Bola. He just slept around.

In mordern times dating and sleeping around are vastly different. He casually hooked up with women and flipped when they expressed their feelings.

And nah sorry sonakshi went through way worse and he hounded her when he thought Jatin and her were together.

I don't buy his stupid "I was in pain and only loved you." It's not excusable. It's cliché line that means nothing.

Be it man or woman

Sona tried to fix Dev in the beginning phase of marriage

Every one is responsible for themselves

Accept Dev with all his short coming , there are people living happily

Do not try fixing any thing accept the person as he is ,

Dev has a lot of trouble first and biggest is his Maa

That lady is every where in son’s life but her intentions now are not evil but at end result is terrible

Sona deserve a better life

Dev to deserve a better life but then Maa there

I am not judging either Dev or Sona

It is better for them to separate

😂😂😂

It is the the way they should live , they are fighting my family and your family at this stage better separate

Children responsibility can be shared they live in the same city .

Sona has her family , Baba & Jatin

Who Dev has that crazy Ishu , let him find some peace but he too must realize that it is better for them to separate

Part ways as friends

😂😂

That is why I say first time when Dev threw Sona out if his life at hospital that is the clear signal for the future she had one golden chance but she was in love .

Now look like love is gone from her mind and they are older

I don't think love is lost from Sonakshi's end. Any particular incident in this season which makes you say this? But there are numerous scenes which showed lack of care(forget love) from Dev's end.

I have quite mad at Dev's characterization this season. It's been awful, to put it lightly. Cracking idiotic whatsapp jokes like who pays attention to their wives after 10 years, increasing the volume of the radio while she talks about her feelings etc. He stood her up at the coffee shop and didn't even feel guilty about it, apologizing only when Bijoy made a comment on why she was sad.

They have made the Ishwari and Dev relationship even more cloying and over-the-top than what it already was. He forgot their anniversary but remembers to get his mother's favorite paan. That garden scene where he plays with her pallu and tells her that she is his life and he needs her like heart beat and breaths. That was serious Oedipus Complex vibes.

He has been telling Sona he loves her, but not what she needs at the time.

Everything aside, not siding with Sona over Ayush really is too much. He doesn't have to yell or be disrespectful but he needs to tell Ishwari in clear way that he and Sona make decisions for the kids and she can't do anything without their permission. I just don't see how he is not able to do that.

He hoped Sona had come home and everything will be back to normal. Dev loves sweeping things under the rug. But since she is confronting, he is really mad. I couldn't comprehend his statement that their POV needed to be told to Sona. Hello? I thought you agreed with Sona's POV! Once again, not a good characterization.

Shaheer fans have gone overboard in making gifs and edits on how awesome Dev is, but this season, he has sucked big time.

I sometimes check hashtag on twitter.... except the fans...the neutrals see right through the hypocritical behaviour of maa beta. People do realise the toxic vibes their relationship gives to everyone around them.

Sona was too busy looking after her newborn child, her family & her new business in Kolkata after Dev ( read it as Vicky) got them evicted from the Bose house. She had to start from the scratch as they were literally penniless & in debt when they were thrown out in the streets. She had no time ( or inclination) to get involved with any man as she was busy building a life for herself & her family during the separation. She was too hurt by Dev to even think of entering into a relationship with anyone

Dev on the other hand became a Casanova during the separation.😂😂 He had numerous girlfriends with whom he used to roam about in the daytime on his bike & spend the nights in the hotel room reserved for him. Though of course most of the people were convinced it was all platonic 😆because it seemed impossible as he had never even looked at a girl in a romantic way in the 28 years of his life before he met Sona & fell in love with her. The makers left it open ended for the audience to decide what they wanted to believe.😅😅

However the audience was 100% sure about was that both loved each other very much even during & after the separation. The one thing that left a sour note in the audience's mind was how come Dev never even bothered to check on how Sonakshi was managing even once in the 7 years they were apart especially as he knew he was the reason they were homeless.

Dev had totally lost his way in the 7 years he was apart from her & became a empty shell of his former self & led a meaningless life without her & came to life only after she had returned to Delhi. And shockingly during this 7 years separation he had maintained an emotional as well physical distance/ detachment from his mother & blamed her for the separation ( he blamed Sona too for leaving him even though he himself told her to do so). He wouldn't come home for days & would only come once or twice in a week to check on her. It was a befitting punishment for Ishwari who thought that she got her son back once Sona disappeared from his life.

Meanwhile, Sona was devastated by their separation & was depressed. However she had no time to mope as she had the responsibility of her family to think of & she concentrated on her start up company with help of her childhood friend, Jatin who provided the finance for the venture & became her business partner. It was only when she gave birth to Soha, life became meaningful to her & Soha became her reason for living during the 7 years of their separation.

It was in two completely contrast manner they coped with the separation.

Both of them had their way of coping it seems. One had the liberty to choose how he wants to cope and the other one had circumstances decide for her.

Still something very drastic must've happened for them to drift apart like this. Can't wait to see the story unfolding. It's getting interesting.

I am not telling Sona didn’t go through pain

I am not blaming her at all

Choices people make in life , put them is such situations pain and heart break is the result

I won’t get overly excited or angry about Dev or Sona

The way Dev behaving , why it is like that I cam understand , I feel empathy & compassion for him .

Doesn’t mean that I am justifying him

Sona suffered a lot not denying that , it is better for her lto leave Maa & beta forever if that makes her happy.

Watching the episode yesterday & the one before that, one realizes exactly why Ishwari was scared & bothered enough to rush to the Bose house to bring Sona back to the Dixit house after seeing an upset & distant Dev. It is not just for the kids' sake she was willing to do that though it was one of the reason to do so. Mamaji mentioning to her that Dev didn't touch her feet before leaving for work reminded her about the past two occassions when Devakshi separated all because of her.

Under normal circumstances, she would have been happy to have Dev completely to herself without having anyone to share his love & attention.with. But she had 2 previous experiences of how Devakshi's separation could cause havoc in Dev's life and consequently in her relationship with her son. She was aware of how devastated Dev was both the times when Sona was out of his life. Both times he took to heavily to drinking & was miserable and at his worst. During the first separation he resorted to stalking her & ended up totally drunk & injuring himself & in the process getting Sona's engagement to Ritwik being called off. The second separation was even worse. Its impact was felt by everyone in the family. None of her daughters kept in touch with her or Dev during those 7 long years. Nikki ended up being in a live in relationship. And Dev had voiced out his grievance of her not even trying to maintain a good relationship with the one person ( Sonakshi) who mattered the most for him while he took efforts in trying to balance every relationship in his life including that of Gkb's family. Dev ended up having multiple affairs with random girls & living a life away from the Dixit house. For the first time, his relationship with his maa was strained & she couldn't manipulate or control him even with her emotional blackmailing & guilt trips about the past. He was immune to all her efforts to bring him back to their previous footing. He stayed away from home for many days & was indifferent to her pleadings & requests though he did check on her once in a while. It was the most miserable time for her and she didn't want to go through it ever again. Dev started behaving normally with her only once Sona returned back to his life. She understood then that as long as Dev had Sona in his life, she ( Ishwari) could exercide her rights on him as his mother in the same manner as in the past. The fear of going through that darkest phase again in her life had her panicking enough to rush to bring back Sona home. And now with Sona deciding to walk out of the Dixit house with her children, she fears another phase of neglect & indifference from her son.

Even if Mamaji ends up convincing Sonakshi to stay in the Dixit house which apparently he manages to do, I am glad this incident will make Ishwari realize that she cannot take Sonakshi for granted & undermine her authority as the mother of her 3 grandchildren.

I agree completely. Ishwari initially was complacent, saying "she will come right back", then she was judgemental, "how can a mother stay away from her children". But as time went by, and she started seeing Dev, his anger, she just freaked out. She was ready to go beg Sona to come back. Funnily, this time she realized it within a day. That is progress.
