Also, with all due respect, I think Assamese people get offended very easily. (I'm not pin pointing you or anyone, and I totally get why you feel this way... and its justified to an extent as Assamese people are not that much represented on mainstream TV and movies). I have lived in Assam for 3 years and it was not a good experience at all. I was constantly harassed for being a Punjabi, people called me names in their language and would glare at me. Rather than rest of the country not accepting I wonder if they don't accept themselves or want others to think differently of them? There were lots of Assamese in lajpat nagar studying in DU but they just never mixed. My roommate was a North Indian who grew up in Assam so knew the language, most of her friends were Assamese. They would come over and would only speak in Assamese making sure I never felt included.. they liked sticking in their cliques. Whenever they complained, my roommate would always point out that if they continue to act that way.. they can't expect anything different.

Where in Assam did you live?

Because in my university nor in my home town something like this happens. At least I have not seen this, yes it may happen in other places in Assam, I clearly can't say for all of them.

We had so many friends in our hostel speaking other languages and we made sure to include them in our conversation by speaking Hindi. Yes I cannot speak Hindi well and always do gender confusions( which I have improved now especially talking here) therefore I speak less while conversing with them as I don't get the words. If that is the reason someone thought that way I don't know.

And about the show, she clearly explained her reasons in the video.

And about me, if a part of the map is removed where we live, people are bound to be hurt.

Some people here also judged you (which was obviously wrong) may be because many people have actually faced stereotyping before as they told but that doesn't justify their behaviour if they did the same with you.

And things are changing btw in both sides. And I really wish that these things do not happen again and again in future.

Honestly after gathering myself.....this would have been a dumb but ok episode with we had atleast one more week with us or atleast one hour episodes this week......but the very fact that the ML is a chaman gadha in last 4 episodes.....made the episode a 1/5 for me.......

+1 for Baby Rhea who is on her way to redemption....no matter how gadha-ly her track was handled....I'm ready to forget everything thing.....wo khud raastey se hat rahi Hain......
