I understand the reason the SR track was bought in, to highlight how children were made to go through all this and how it was all normal. Very noble cause to show but the entire execution of it? Not good.

They could have done it without all that extra mirch masala drama. The molestation could have been a separate track with some teen girl who was a friend of Bondita and Bon could have witnessed it (not seen it again, just understood something wrong is happening) thus understanding how women are exploited in all wrong ways.

All the same dialogues, scenes once the thakur was stopped could have happened but before that, everything was so wrong for a child actor to go through.

This is ITV, at the end of the day. It is not some serious socio drama or documentary that they have to show the child going through it but they still chose it

Haan sr track was the dark truth of that time but the crush wala track actually felt cringy

Isliye gaali deti hu to the makers 😆 Kuch bhi kar diya tha during that entire track with Ani and Bon for all typical ITV drama.

Anirudh realized a lot of stuff and everything was cleared up very well later but waha tak paunchne jo jo kiya that was unnecessary and the only reason they did it was for TRPs.
