She was the last to be casted..she had auditioned for other show of the PH..They pulled her in just a week before promo launch and she was told that they would see how she is recieved by the audience.. kindaa probation you know ....Relate with Ashwini's interview..where she said Ayesha knows that she got a big opportunity and she puts her all in this ..

She is 24-25.. Interestingly they have the same age gap as in the show..

On probation for a FL? What were they planning to do in case she was disappointing?

And they planned a promo launch before being sure about the female lead?

I guess they were not able to finalize anyone for Sai and the show was to go Floors.. Ayesha was the last to join I suppose...Neil was in this since Jan 2020 and then Aish was casted..

Poor girl....must have felt overawed ....

This is really cute and sad in a way. The way she was holding onto Usha Mausi's hand. It was really sweet of Neil to make her comfortable. In fact he tried throughout.

It was a risk but that contributed to the shows success hugely.

Ayesha as sai is the darling of the audience now.more than any other character.

many I know who watch the show refer to ghum as 'apni sai ka show'.💖.

Ayesha mainly casted for her personality that stood out in her performance as Sai..

But they possibly could NOT take risk to play such complex role .i guess they were in two minds before finalizing her. Ph wanted popular faces like aneri, nia or jeenifer but all rejected if rumours to be believed .Tgey had budget issues and also channel wanted a fresh face so opted for Ayesha. Till now this girl never dissapointed. Her costars are very supportive towards her.

Long time back the audition for Sai was released. Both Ayesha and Aishwarya had auditioned. Aishwarya was good, better in fact but Ayesha's face had that vitality and expressions of a young girl. I understood why she had been chosen. Her character needed that freshness and rawness.

She has come a long way now. Am happy that I am a part of her journey.
