His stupid creative experiment, whether caused by the channel or not, brought the show to its doom. Extension mil gayi thi, normal story chalaye rakhta. Channel ne agar interfere kiya bhi toh he could've met in the middle somehow instead of fully going off track in the name of tadka.

What riles me up is his audacity to then say, "I'm making changes based on your feedback!" Excuse you mister, itna ehsaan karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Your mess, clean it up as you please. Hamari sunni thi toh yeh sab karte hi nahi.

I'm honestly not even that upset as a viewer because I can easily rewatch old episodes over and over again. I'm upset because this is so irresponsible of the production house and the channel. They employ countless people and axing good shows left, right, and centre for reasons that make no sense is terrible! I understand it's a business at the end of the day, but then how are they not understanding that the best way to cash in on these new-age stories is by airing them at a time when their target audience is able to tune in on television? Shows like Anupamaa or YRKKH will never see an end because of their time slot, not because of their storylines. Give MHRW a fair chance, which is a deserving timeslot. This is simply foul play.

Disclaimer: I'm not bashing those shows, I used to watch them myself at some point. They can run for as long as they like because just like MHRW, those shows also help put food on the table for countless people. My issue is trying to throw MHRW in the same bandwagon and then drawing TRP comparisons. Compare apples to apples, not apples to bananas.

I can understand your frustration but now for some time let's cut them some slack

It was sickand show. It was he who invested his money and resources in the show. It was he who found Sai ketan rao and shivanagi khedkar. It was he who gave them the opportunity to play protagonists in top GEC star plus. You know how tough it is to grab lead role in star plus. It's not like zee tv or dangal.Star plus has its own larger than life brand value. Because of this show only sai insta followers reached from a mere 5000 to 2 lakh in 6 months in organic way

Sickand has made a huge mistake I agree to that . He tried something and it didn't work out. But as shivangi herself said in interview " jab tak hum try nahi karenge tab tak pata nahi chalega ki its working out or not". He has openly accepted his mistake and trying to rectify them. have you ever seen ekta aur gul accepting their mistake. No. They always try to justify it. It wasn't his fault that channel gave him dead slot . In fact I think he happily accepted that slot going by his interview.

A creator has the right to destroy his own product.He can destroy it with as much brutality as he made it with love. He is under no moral obligation to fulfil everyone demands.

Sandeep never put a gun on our forehead or demanded huge amount of money to watch his show. It was us who got attracted in the first place

Shows like anupama or yrrkkh sustain not due to time slot but due to trps they bring. They bring audience based on which ads give revenue to channel. So what if older ladies like a particular type of shows. Does we have a moral right to judge someone for their entertainment preference.Can't they watch a show which gives them a sense of comfort in these corona times and after toiling hard in the kitchen.

We watch a show for a short duration of only 30 minutes but they have to work 12 hours shift of 2 days to make an episode

As for the new age based shows for young audience , there is multiple option on online platforms

Maybe the reason why Shivangi was telling everybody that they thought having Pallavi torn between responsibility and love would really work was to convince viewers not to leave and to continue supporting them.

The TM requested for the topic to be closed as its confirmed for now that the show isnt going off air anytime soon.
