I don't see it as Raghav's nature to give Pallavi (or Kirti, or Vijay) freedom to decide for herself. He has never been understanding about Pallavi's right to give consent:

  • Raghav tried to rush Pallavi to the temple for marriage, then offered business incentives, wouldn't let her pay back Rs. 5 lakh, and finally broke her will by extortion.
  • Raghav wouldn't let Pallavi leave him; he even invoked her late husband to ask for a chance.
  • Raghav tried to put Pallavi on a train instead of just telling her that she was free to leave him but he wanted her to stay.
  • Raghav expected Pallavi to call it justice that "someone" went to jail for Mandar's hit-and-run, even knowing that the real culprit got away.

Furthermore, when Raghav sees a woman attracted to two men (example: Anjali), he goes out of his way to punish her. He could have simply told Anjali's fiancé that she was flirting with him, but instead he took Anjali to his bedroom, laid her on the bed, got into his bathrobe, put one foot up on the bed (😵) ... and then opened the bedroom door to her fiancé. That was sadistic.

I would fully expect Raghav to act out at the slightest hint that Pallavi might leave him. It was totally in character that he told her off, then got drunk, and went to whine at her door that he couldn't live without her. He behaved similarly when he played taxi driver to Jaya and Kirti, then got drunk, and made Farhad drive him over to their house (until they found Pallavi in the road). We could have had a dramatic love triangle of Pallavi in scenes with Mandar on his best behaviour versus Raghav self-destructing for her attention.

Very well written.

In fact both Mandhar and Raghav do not care about Pallavi wants. Say for example, if today Pallavi said to Raghav that she is still in love with Mandhar and wants to go back with Mandhar since he was the love of her life, and wants to have the life that they dreamed together to build then I don't think Raghav would have let her be. If that were to happen then maybe the one with zidd to win Pallavi back in every way up to self-harm and pity will be Raghav.

Nobody asked Pallavi what did she want when Mandhar return. Raghav did not say to Pallavi that if Mandhar regains his memory and you want to go back to him then no matter how hurt I am, I will support you.

We are saying that Raghav is loving, caring, and always putting Pallavi first because he is the lead and not because of his actions.

They made Mandaar creepy too soon and then revealed that to Raghav too easily via bet.

Should have build shadiness of Mandaar’s character bit by bit, would’ve created good suspense for characters and audience.

Ashok is good actor, would have definitely pulled it off.

This 2-3 days separation and reunion was lame, so was that bet 🤔.

The whole "not letting Pallavi speak" trend started when Dr. Ramya took them back to her clinic to get introduced. Dr. Ramya was the only one answering questions, and after Raghav acted hostile to Mandar, she told Mandar, "Maybe this is your family." She never asked Pallavi, "Who is Raja/Mandar to you? Who is this man who plays chicken with an ambulance driver and runs around with a gun?" It wasn't until they brought Mandar home ("Surprise, Amruta! Your dead cousin is standing in front of you!") and Pallavi introduced everyone else, that Mandar asked her who she was to him, and Raghav said, "My wife."

They started showing Mandy as creepy right from start that was big let down

Manvi scenes were cliche there was no need to show physicality it looks so disgusting

If he had played mind game then everyone would have welcomed it

Being nice if he hid his grey color they it would have been awesome

Mandaar was not issue it was pallu the irritating one who was shown neglecting Raghu

Execution of track went wrong

We cannot expect Raghav to so easily let go something so precious to him without a fight, no matter what the circumstance. Agree his drunken whining was in line what I'd expect of his character.

So far, his relationship with Pallavi hasn't really been threatened - what happened the past couple of days was just a blip on the radar. If it actually came to that, he would not be so easy to deal with, and his alpha male tendencies won't go away overnight.

Absolutely what I wanted to say, this track would have shown Raghavs true nature and his alpha male attitude. I mean " What is mine is mine"

To the point in Bold, that Raghav will not let Pallavi go I don't think its true or agree with this, there have been many instances where its shown opposite after marriage (before marriage yeah he didnt respect her consent which is wrong but that's the Hate/misunderstanding part) :

- Raghav booked tickets for Pallavi to go back to Kolhapur when his Amma suggested that Pallavi might not be truly happy with him and in this marriage. He was upset yes, he hoped that she wont leave, but gave her the full freedom to decide.

- When they found Mandar, yes Raghav claimed Pallavi is his wife in front of Mandar (I believe he did that just because he knew Pallavi was almost going to confess her love to him, that gave him the confidence) . But once they reached RR mansion, Raghav was looking at Pallavi's reaction. He was hoping to find a single indication that Pallavi wanted to choose him, her panicking about the wedding photo was the indication and courage to confess his feelings. if Pallavi had not panicked over their wedding picture or confessed her love, looking at the way Raghav portrayed his expressions would have let her go. He might have been a bit self destructive due to his character but would not have expected Pallavi to come back to him.

- Even after confessing their love to each other, when Mandar showed the DNA proof, when Mandar questioned if Pallavi doesnt value their marriage, Raghav did not say anything, he let Pallavi speak for herself, thats Raghav giving Pallavi her space again.

- He asked Pallavi a couple of times after as well, what is her opinion is and thought about Mandar, I believe those questions were for Pallavi to introspect and choose. But after multiple confirmations from Pallavi to Raghav that she loves only Raghav, one and only then he told pallavi he cannot live without her, becuase he allowed himself fully accept this marriage and love. Whining at the door, being upset at Pallavi for forgetting about his award function, which I believe he has full rights to show his feelings to the person her loves.

If they had shown Pallavi asking for time to decide what to do about Mandar and her relationship with Raghav, looking at the way the Raghav has because since knowing Pallavi's truth after marriage, he would have let her go. He is the guy who was was ready to wash her Father's feet just so that she get's her Parents back and her happiness back.

But ofcourse, skipping the love confession once Mandar entered, slowly building up the emotional turmoil in Pallavi and Raghav distancing himself to let Pallavi decide and slowly establishing Mandar's character would have worked.

Very well said, and reading it made me feel sad about the wasted potential.

Yes they seem to be rushed. I mean they showed mangla gaur pics and literally showed the precap the next day and it aired a day later. So i feel like they are behind and maybe short staff too which means that their editing is done super fast. Usually after u see some bts pics or videos, the scene comes about a week later. Sometimes u even forget that u saw that bts.

I mean just now with Raghav pirate dress up. We saw bts yesterday and already today they showed in precap. It might not air till monday but that’s quite fast.

Also i find they are rushing with Pallavi’s hair and makeup and her jewellery.

Shivangi is beautiful just natural with no makeup but with makeup i feel they are putting a bit too much. Especially her eyes. She has beautiful eyes which are lined a bit too heavy. Just my opinion please dont bash me for that. Lol. At some points her face looks a bit dark and greasy on the sides. Anyway. Once again just my opinion.

Raghav looks hot regardless 🤣

I think all this divorce drama and Raghvi plan is the change so they are rushing it and therefore their scenes are rushed too. Hopefully this divorce plan was part of their original plan otherwise if it’s the alternate plan then we are in for some rushed and choppy scenes.
