Part 1
Raavi was sitting in front of a Mandir crying very badly. She was constantly cursing herself for her that one mistake that she had committed and now she was suffering, paying a big prize for it.
She sobbed as she reflected on all the events that had taken place in the past few days.
‘Kyun? kyun hua aise? Maine aisa kyun kiya? Sab kuch thik chal raha tha. Hum kitne khush the. Shiva kitna khush tha. Maasima finally humari shaadi ke liye maan gayi thi. Hamari shaadi bhi ho gayi. But meri ek galti ki wajah se sab khatam ho gaya. I hate myself. Mujhe pata tha ki Rahul Shiva se kitni nafrat karta hai, fir bhi maine use bulaya. Agar main usse nahi bulati toh aaj Shiva hospital mein zindagi aur maut ke beech mein nahi ladh raha hota. Mein bahut buri hun. Apne pyaar ke liye maine mushkil khadi kar di. Apne hi pati ke liye.’
That's when someone approached her and kept a hand on her shoulder. Raavi turned and saw who the person was.
DEV
She quickly hugged him. “Dev sab meri wajah se hua na? Agar mein who Rahul ko nahi bulati toh aisa nahi hota. Kitni bewakoof thi mein ki mujhe laga woh sudhar gaya hai. Kitni galat thi mein. Meri ek bewakoofi ki wajah se Shiva ki yeh halat ho gayi hai.”
Then suddenly she broke the hug and looked at him bewildered. “Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? Shiva ke paas jao na. He needs you Dev. Tum jao uske pass. Ek minute, Shiva ki halat kaisi hai? Woh thik toh hai na? Batao na Dev kuch toh bolo na!!” She was constantly jerking his hands and asking him.
“Kuch improvement nahi hai Raavi Aur please apne aap ko dosh dena band karo. Tumhari koi galti nahi hai. Toh please tum apne aap ko blame mat karo. Aur Shiva ko meri nahi tumhari zaroorat hai
“Kaise na blame karun Dev? Shiva ki yeh halat meri wajah se hui hai. Mein use face kaise karungi? Agar Shiva ko kuch ho gaya na Dev to mein bhi mar jaungi. Nahi jee paungi uske bina.” She collapsed in his arms crying more bitterly.
Dev looked at her helplessly and hugged her back.
He felt so terrible that he didn't know what to do. His brother was hanging on the thread between life and thread and here his best friend Raavi was blaming herself for her husband’s accident. Everything was so perfect only until that unfortunate moment happened when Rahul did that unforgivable deed.

Finally, with Shiva's manaofying Prafulla and Mausapa had agreed for Shivi's marriage. Raavi was so much happy that she was not able to express her happiness. She was excited. Hell excited for her marriage now that too with Prafulla and Mausapa's permission.
She was standing at the terrace. She looked up as if talking to her Maa and Papa. ‘Dekha Maa Maine kaha tha na Main Shiva se shaadi tabhi karungi jab Maasima maan jayengi. Aur dekho finally Maasima maan gayi. I'm so happy Maa Papa. Kaash aap bhi yahan hote. Par mujhe pata hai Aapne toh pehle hi humein Aashirwad de diya hai. Ab bas mein yahi dua mangti hun ki hamari life mein aur koi problem na aaye..
Shiva came towards her and saw her lost in her thoughts. So he wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his chin on her shoulder. “Kahan kho gayi?”
Raavi wrapped her arms around his as she leaned back on his chest. “Maa Papa se baat kar rahi thi.” She whispered with slight tears in her eyes.
Shiva understood her state and kissed her cheek. “Oh tum meri Saasu maa aur Sasur ji se baat kar rahi thi. Mein bhi karunga.” He looked up where Raavi was looking and started talking. “Hello Saasu maa Kaise ho aap? Sorry mein ab aapko Aunty nahi bulaunga Kyunki aapki beti ki khadus Maasima(Raavi glared and jabbed his stomch with her elbow. Shiva just umphed but didn't budge at her attempts to get out of his hold and continued. “Acha okay okay sorry meri yahaan ki Sasu Maa ne finally mujhe accept kar liya hai. Isilye aapko Aunty bolna is unethical na. So Saasu maa aap iss pagal ladki ki chinta mat kijiye mein isse jhel lunga.” She smacked his arm and glared at him playfully. “But honestly Mein aapko thank you karna chahta hun. Aapne mujhe itni beautiful ladki di jisse mein apni jaan se bhi jyadaa pyaar karta hun.” Happy tears were dribbling down his eyes. “Mein bahut lucky hun ki mujhe Raavi jaisi life partner mili.” He stared at her admiringly. “Aur Sasur ji, mein promise karta hun ki ise humesha khush rakhunga. Ise kabhi koi takleef nahi aane dunga. Koi bhi takleef aane se pehle uss takleef ko mera saamna karna hoga.” He turned to look up. “Aur mujhe meri zindagi dene ke liye bahut bahut bahu bada wala thank you. I love you RAAVI. I really do.”
Raavi also had happy tears at the love that shone in his eyes. She was blessed to have Shiva in her life. “I love you too Shiva.” She lovingly pecked his lips and kissed his forehead.
“Haww naughty girl. Kuch toh sharam karo. Saasu maa aur Sasur ji dekh rahin hain hamein. Kya sochenge woh? Dekha Saasu maa isne mujhe peck kiya. Maine kuch nahi kiya han Sasur ji.”
Raavi got angry and pushed him away with all her force. “Acha sharam karun na? To thik hai. Aaj se shaadi ke din tak no touching. No hugs and kisses. Ab mein dikhati hun ki sharam karna kya hota hai.” She challenged with an evil glint in her eyes.
“NAHI Aisa julm mat kar gaalib. Mein kaise jee paunga bina tumhe touch kiye”, he pouted making a puppy face.
“Huh Don't show me those puppy faces. Yeh pehle sochna chahiye tha. Ab bhugto. And now bye.” She smirked as she left from there, a whinning Shiva following her.
“Are Raavi suno toh. Main toh mazak kar raha tha.” He squeaked in his baby voice and he ran behind her.
Full day Shiva tried to talk to her or touch her. But Raavi didn't let him touch her neither did she talked to him.
Suddenly Prafulla and Mausapa called her..
“Are Raavi, Bhai teri shaadi hone wali hai, Apne doston ko nahi bulayegi kya apni shaadi mein?”
“Haan Maasima woh bas mein jaane hi wali thi.”
“Thike jaldi jaa aur sab ko invite kar ke aa..”
“Ji Maasima”
And thus ignoring Shiva. Raavi left for FITE.Shiva was sulking at his own deed. It was as if he made the saying true
‘Apne hi pairon pe kulhaadi marna’

She reached her college and went and invited all her close friends. On the way she met Rahul..
She was about to ignore and walk away when he stopped her
“Raavi”, he called out
Raavi just let out a groan. “Kya hai?”, she was irritated by his mere presence.
“Mujhe apni shaadi mein nahi bulaogi?”
Raavi looked shocked at his hopeful voice. “What? Tumhe sach mein lagta hai ki mein tumhe bulaungi? After all what you did to me? Aur mein Tumhe bulaun? Jo Shiva ka itna bada dushman hai?”, she glared at him hard.
“Mein janta tha ki tum yehi bologi. But honestly Raavi Mein ab badal gaya hun. Mujhe samajh mein aa gaya hai ki jo bhi mein kar raha tha woh kitna galat tha. Meine bahut bachpana dikhaya Aur iss liye tumhari Shaadi mein aake mein Shiva se bhi maafi mangna chahta hun.
Raavi thought for a moment. She fell in his trap right then and there. “Thik hai Tum bhi aa jana.” And she left from there, not knowing Rahul’s real intention.
Rahul smirked evilly. “Thank you so much Raavi. Ab Shiva ka full and final karna hi padega Aur woh opportunity tumne hi mujhe de di. Wow how ironic na. Shiva, tu to gaya. Raavi ko mujhse cheena chahta tha na. Ab dekhta hun tu kaise use mujhse cheenta hai. Raavi sirf meri hai. Sirf meri.”
WEDDING DAY
Shivi were getting ready in their respective rooms. Raavi’s friend Tanya was helping Raavi to get ready. She was looking like a princess, dolled up in a red lehenga with golden works she was looking very beautiful
Tanya just admired her and put a nazar ka tikka below her right ear and said:Haaye kissi ki nazar na lage
Raavi just smiled
On the other hand..
Dev and Krish were helping Shiva. Shiva's pagdi was not yet fixed so Dev and Krish were arguing that how to fix it.
“Are mujhe pata hai na kaise karte hain tu laa mujhe de.” Dev argued as he tried to snatch the padgi from Krish’s hands.
“Are Dev Bhaiya mujhe pata hai, Aapko bhi maine hi pagdi bandhi thi. To Aap yeh mujhe hi karne do na.”
“Shaadi meri hui hai, teri nahi jo tujhe pata hoga. Tune jo pagdi mujhe bandhi thi who beech raste mein hi khul gayi thi. Woh toh Dhara Bhabhi ne mera kachra hone se bacha liya tha, warna tune to koi kasar nahi chodi thi.”
“Are woh tabki baat thi. Ab mein acche se bandh sakta hun pagdi. Do na.”
They both were fighting like kids. Shiva was getting frustrated and he yelled at them. “Chup karo dono yaha waise hi mera nervousness ke mare bura haal hai aur tum log ho ki.”
They stopped fighting and shared knowing looks as they started teasing him.
“Ohoo matlab ki Shiva Bhaiya bhi nervous feel karte hai. Yeh sapna toh nahi hai na Dev Bhaiya?”
“Nahi Krish yeh sapna nahi haqeeqat hai. Ab aakhir shaadi karne wala hai hamara Shiva. Thodi toh phategi hi na. Kyun hain na Shiva?”
“Raavi Bhabhi se phatt rahi hai na Shiva Bhaiya? Haina??”
Shiva just blushed and to hide it he just shrugged arrogantly. “Haan haan thik hai thik hai chidha lo jitna chidha na hai. Tu kurbaan ho chukka hai Dev, isilye jyaada uchak mat. Aur Jab teri baari aayegi na Krish tab pata chalega.”
He took the pagdi and wore it. Cracking jokes here and there, They came out of the room. Now they were at the mandap. Shiva was sitting on his place desperately waiting for his bride.
Just then he saw his doll descending the stairs with Tanya and some of her friends. His breath got struck at the beautiful sight of her
He just uttered one word at the beauty. ‘Beautiful’
Raavi also blushed sensing his gaze. She came and sat beside him
Both looked at each other and exchanged smiles. Then all the rituals happened. Tanya tied their gathbandhan thus making him her sister of Raavi and they took the 7 pheras around the fire.
Shiva made her wear the mangalsutra and filled her parting with the holy sindoor. Even Prafulla and Mausapa did the kanyadaan happily.
Shivi were now happily married. They came and started taking blessings of the elders that were spread in the hall.
Just as they came below the chandelier in the hall, it fell down crushing Shiva very badly. From a distance Rahul evilly smirked as he witnessed the accident. “Goodbye Shiva Pandya."
Everyone was just shocked and no one knew how to react. Raavi was standing there numb. She didn't know how to react as she saw Shiva lying their unconscious with blood oozing from his head.
Raavi quickly fell on her knees and started screaming. “Shiva!!! Shiva kya hua? Shiva uth!! Shiva uth na. Dev Krish dekho na isse kya hua..” She sobbed as she tried her best to wake him up.
Suddenly Tanya screamed. “Dev Krish, woh dekho Rahul catch him. Usne hi yeh kiya hai.” She exclaimed pointing at Rahul who got alarmed. As he was about to escape Tanya had heard him and then had shouted loudly to grab people’s attention and stop him from escaping.
Dev and Krish quickly got hold of him and Gaumbi hurriedly asked Tanya to call for an ambulance.
“Dhara, jaldi police ko phone laga.”
Both did what they were told to. Raavi had taken Shiva's head in her lap and she was constantly tapping his cheek trying to wake him up.
“Shiva uth na. Please uth na.” She sobbed as he lay unconscious in her lap. Soon Ambulance came and Shiva was rushed to the hospital
Doctors took him to the Operation theatre. Everyone was present there and was praying for Shiva's wellbeing. Raavi was constantly crying keeping her head on Tanya's shoulder and Dhara was consoling her sitting on the other side of her while wiping her own tears.
After 3 hours Doctors came outside, Raavi rushed to him. “Doctor Shiva kaisa hai? Usse kuch nahi hoga na?”
“Dekhiye Patient ke sar se bahut khoon beh chuka hai. Unke sar mein kaanch ke tukde ghus gaye the. Humne woh tukde to nikal diye hain par unke ghaav bahut gehre hain. Jab tak ki ye ghaav thik nahi ho jaate hum kuch nahi keh sakte.
“What do you mean kuch nahi keh sakte?? Agar uske ghaav theek nahi hue toh?” Her eyes widened in horror.
“Then I'm sorry Mrs Raavi woh coma mein chale jayenge.” He gave an apologetic look to all of them and left.
Raavi felt as if the world stopped. "Coma mein chale jayenge." The doctors words kept ringing in her ears.
“Yeh sab sab meri waajah se hua. Na mein Rahul ko bulaati na hi Shiva ke upar woh chandelier girta. Sab meri wajah se hua hai.” She was muttering everything in a daze. And the next thing, she had rushed to the same Mandir.

“2 mahine ho gaye hain uss accident ko Raavi. 2 mahino se tum yahaan aa rahi ho. 5 min ke liye Shiva ko baharse dekhti ho aur fir bhagke yahaan aa jati ho. Aise kab tak chalega?” He pleaded worriedly, worried for his friend.
“Main issi ke layak hun Dev. Aaj meri ek galti ki wajah se Shiva zindagi aur maut ke beech ladh raha hai. Sab meri hi galti hai Isilye yahaan aake apni galti ki maafi mang rahi hun. Aur yeh dua kar rahi hun ki mera Shiva jaldi theek ho jaye.”
“Can't you understand damn it!! He needs you!! Agar tum uske paas rahi to use hosh aa jayega. Please Raavi apne pyaar ke liye hi sahi please ek baar mere saath usse dekhne chalo. Please apne pyaar ke liye.”
After much pressurizing Raavi agreed. They came to the hospital. Everyone were present there and were shocked to see her state. Her hairs were dishelmed and tears were slowly but continuously flowing from her eyes.
Before entering his ward she quickly peeped inside. She kept her hand on the glass door silently watching Shiva. Like she was doing for the past 2 months. She finally took the courage and entered the ward. She just stood there silently taking the scene.
Her Shiva was covered with wires needles piercing his body. Her heart pained to see him like this. She was again cursing herself for his condition. She remembered every moment that she had spent in his arms. The blissful moments they had experienced together. Her heart pained more on seeing his heart-wrenching condition.
She took his hand in her hands and kept it on her cheek to gain his warmth But alas! She couldn't get the same feeling which she used to get when he used to cup her cheeks lovingly
“Shiva please uth jaa na. Please mujhe itna mat sataa na. Maine kaha tha ki shaadi tak no touching no hugs and kisses, to tune seriously hi le liya. Please apni Raavi ke paas wapas aa jaa. Please Phir dekhna tu jo bolega na mein wahi karungi. Pakka promise.” She said pinching her throat just like a kid. “But please uth jaa na.. Utho na Shiva Please.”
Suddenly she felt movement in his hand. The machine started beeping rapidly. Raavi got scared. Why was this happening?
She quickly dashed for the door, desperate for the Doctor to come and see what exactly was happening. Everyone heard her screams and got panicked.
The doctor rushed in and immediately started checking Shiva. Raavi closed her eyes in fear. She was praying while joining both her hands for Shiva to be alright.
She opened her eyes as she felt the atmosphere go silent. Shiva had opened his eyes, but he looked at everyone in confusion.
GauRa approached him as Dhara bent down and kissed his forehead. Gaumbi just clutched Shiva’s hands and squeezed them tightly, trying to bask in the information that Shiva was finally awake.
Krish, Dev and Rishita also responded similarly as Suman hugged Shiva with all her might.
Raavi was silently witnessing the reunion. She was just waiting for him to acknowledge her so that she can clutch her legs and beg for forgiveness for all her stupidness.
His eyes did finally land on her, But the next thing he said had her heart and hopes shatter into million pieces.
“Raavi? Tu shaadi ke jode mein kyu hai? Teri shaadi ho gayi kya? Itna bhi kuch nahi hua hai mujhe kit u apni shaadi chod ke aa jaye. Tera husband kya sochega?”
Her eyes widened as more tears spilled down her cheeks.
All of them were shocked at what Shiva had uttered, and wanted to make sure that Shiva was not playing a prank on her. But he looked very serious as a glimpse of the old Shiva who was friends with Raavi flashed in front of them.
All of them looked at the Doctor as a look of pity crossed his face. He motioned everyone to follow him.
With Krish Dev and Rishita staying behind, GauRa, Suman and Raavi walked out.
“Jiska mujhe darr tha wahi hua. Mr Shiva ko amnesia ho gaya hai. Amnesia can be caused by damage to areas of the brain that are vital for memory processing. Unlike a temporary episode of memory loss (transient global amnesia), amnesia can be permanent. Jiss waqt who chandelier gira, Mr Shiva shayad uske theek neeche khade the, isilye unke sar pe gehri chot lagi hai. Jiski wajah se unhe amnesia ho gaya hai.”
Doctor explained softly, fully aware that Raavi was his newly wedded wife as he focused on her attire.
“Jaise movies mein dikhate hain, Ye koi temporary cheez nahi hai. Ho sakta hai ki Unki memories abhi kabhi wapas na aaye. Aise cases mein there's no specific treatment for amnesia, but techniques for enhancing memory and psychological support can help people with amnesia and their families cope. Ab yahi ek rasta bacha hai.”
And all hopes, all dreams that Raavi had been dwindling upon since the time Shiva had proposed to her came crashing down. Now she was wedded to the Man who didn’t love her, or you can say, now, he didn’t remember their memories.
Can life be more crueler to her?

"Mumma, aap ro kyu rahe ho?", a pair of small hands wiped her tears as she didn't realize hwen she had started crying.
To anyone, their lovestory looked like a fairytale, but only she knows what all hardships she has passed, just to be with the man she loved, still loves and will keep loving until the rest of her life.
"Kuch nahi baccha. Bass aapke Nani Nanu ki yaad aa gayi thi." She tried to make an excuse as Rashi stared at her with wide curious eyes, just liked her Father's.
"Pakka?", her unsure voice almost made Raavi smile. She was really a replica of her father. So she just nodded.
"Aapne kahani adhuri start ki, Aapne to bataya hi nahi ki aap log kaise mile the." She complained while folding her hands in front of her chest and glared at her cutely.
Raavi chuckled. The way they had met was still magical for her, that was the moment fate had tied them together.
