people name their kids yudi he was jerk out and out jerk

so on and so forth all this on daily basis but there is no cry over it why?

Well atleast he repented, or else he would have carried out more atrocities. He had the power, but gave up, not an easy thing to do. And it was not an convenient time for him, he wanted to do much more expansions.

And as I said unless people who associated with people who suffered because of him, protest, what can we say?

If tomorrow a Oriya protest against Ashok, I would get thier feeling. Not that they can do anything much than trolling and crying, just like currently people are doing. And I will definitely not call them bigots or Mauryan phobic.

Also name Jehangir isn't really the issue here, it is the follow up to Taimur which is causing many to protest.

Let me give an example.

Say someone who knows you well, names his/her first kid Karan. And than goes on to name his/her next kid Karuna.

Wouldn't you think, this guy/girl is deliberately trying to mock me. It may be or it may not be. It maybe he/she genuinely like the name Karan and it's variants. But somewhere down you will feel like he/she is trying to mock.

This is exactly what is happening.

Which parents would name their kids to troll the public? Either they're certifiably nuts, or the public has a bigger collective ego than entire Bollywood combined and is under a gross misconception about its own importance.

i dont know i dont give myself so much of importance parents would hardly name their kid based on their personal vindictiveness for me i mean its their flesh and blood why would decisions of his life based on their feeling for me

see i get the people s outrage for mughals my point is that it should not be limited to just them because there is no king in history who has not committed atrocities mughals were not special species monarch of ancient times were like that only so there is no ground to pin point one section of monarchs while idolizing other

you are way off. Even at the height of his war-mongering days, Ashoka was nowhere as evil as babur, aurangzeb and hitler. There is also the concept of redemption. Ashoka went on to do great things. Thats something the other three miserable despicable characters never did.
