Will get to reading it tomorrow! Remind me again if I haven't since I will be busy with this student orientation thing.

In July-August (my school has it in August), incoming medical students go through orientation week where they do teambuilding activities, ice breakers, have ice cream parties. On Wednesday, I will be giving tours, playing ice breakers, getting students comfortable at school to first year students (since I will be a second year student). And on Thursday, I will be going to the middle of the forest to help with team building exercises (trust falls, tug of war, etc) so the medical students know each other and build a sense of friendship. It's the only fun medical students have until they are 4th year medical students participating in Match Week 🤣, so I tell them to enjoy everything while it's still fun since the rest of medicine is painful 🤕

I also start orientation training on Sunday 🤣 but for incoming undergrad freshman and let me tell you, I am not excited at all 🤪along with moving them in we are with them 24/7 all of welcome week doing the most random of discussions and activities 🤣

It happens because the yatris have to walk barefoot......so it has to be cleaned so that no stones or twigs come in their way and hurt them...because yatris can't take a break in between even for treatment

Good luck, bub... it's hard enough to do orientation to adults, I can't imagine doing orientation activities with a thousand Krish's, Shiva's, or Dev's 🤣 Let's hope none of those freshman show you how adbhut they are
