Saif is a psuedo intellectual. The man said Ramadan has 40 days so don't take him seriously. The name is tacky tbh.

But the real question is, What is this really about? Kareena herself has a Christian name( mom is Christian i believe). I never see this kind of hoopla for any other kids name. How is this anyone's concern? Ohh i get it...

Yeah, Sharmila converted to Islam and I guess she is pretty devoted to it. She held a walima for Saif/Kareena. Her real name is Ayesha Sultana Khan. I think Sharmila is just a stage name now.

Same goes for Salim Khan's wife Sushila who was renamed Salma. Poor woman had to put up with a bigamist husband with 2 wives. But unlike Sharmila, she remained a Hindu from the heart, I think. She still does poojas and prays to Hindu gods and taught it to her kids too.

Not sure about Kareena but I'm inclined to think she probably converted privately. I just don't think a Hindu/Christian woman would agree to name her kids Taimur and Jehangir. More generic Muslims names.. sure. But not these.

They're not. They're generic names that both religions use. I think they deliberately found names that both communities use so it wouldn't cause any controversies.

Aryan is typically more known as a Hindu name though Muslims use it too. AbRam is actually a Hebrew name. They deliberately capitalized the R to emphasize Ram.
