I don't know if Devdasi is associated with any particular God. Widow ashrams are different, even in Bengal near Mayapur we have such ashrams. Mayapur is associated with Lord Krishna. Puri temple mein Devdasi paratha was famous so may be there is some connection between Lord Krishna and Devdasi however I am not sure. I have very very limited knowledge so I better not comment on it 😆

No I was asking for knowledge vaise bon was said to be dedicated to goddess Durga but today she was sitting in front of lord Krishna idol.

vaise I only saw devdaasi think in horror show , vo aata tha shhh.koi hai star one pe , usme ek story thi devdasi ki jaha heroin or villain both were devdasi , villain devdasi was ghost 👻 who was tortured to death coz she dared to love someone & getting intimate with him despite being a devdasi & breaking d rule

Lekin vaha devdasi don't wear berang clothes she was married to god & she used to bless newly married couples.

I really liked Ani character .However in this track I do not like it at all

He knows inside that Bon is innocent still he is not saying anything and listening all harsh words spoken about her

He is showing man without any back bone.

Bon should after this track not run after hi instead go to another town and practice her law and disconnect with Ani and his family and also with his KN family.

Just star new life

Ani does not deserve Bon at all he is irrational and kaan a kaccha listening to whatever his old idiot Trilochan says .

He does not have any back bone. Now his character has become disgusting

Bon should just cut herself from Ani

Mere observations on Ani...

1. Ani by his stone walk silently made the statement Bon wanted him to. He clearly believes that Bon is innocent and that his silence in the Panchayat is a crime that deserves punishment. Kaka realised it, but TP wasis did not.

2. Ani clearly wants to get Bon out of this situation by hook or by crook. And helping Bon escape was the first step. But yahan bhi risk hai. If Ani is caught helping her escape he will still have to answer to the villagers.

3. The whole hut scene gave me goosebumps. Especially the parallels to Ani-Mano ka reception. Tab bhi Bon chose rituals over education/career and ab bhi. Tab bhi Ani was angry with Bon's choice and ab bhi he is angry that she is throwing away her life for him.

4. Bon hasn't done any dhoka is a lie where Ani is concerned, because her accepting the punishment and the accusation in this way is what Ani counts as a betrayal. Ani wanted to make Bon layak enough to ask for her own rights. Bon not doing that is what angered him.

5. However the gunhegaar Ani was going to name is Anirudh Roy Chaudhary. Every moment that he lets Bon suffer is a moment that he will continue sentencing himself.

6. Ani's expressions on learning the first two conditions were heartbreaking in itself, but Bon accepting them was even more heartbreaking for him.

7. Ani was about to interrupt the pandit even after hearing the first vidhi, this ritual is hurting him as a feminist, as a barrister and as Bon's Sakha Babu. Bon goading him like this will increase the hurt more and more till he snaps.
