In the OG when Kathir and Mullai have the exact Mu ShiVi are having, there is a sea of bonding between them. You are invested in their stories and want them to work it out because the journey was so beautiful and you did not want it to go to waste.

Here, you end up feeling that anyways there is no ground work between them- no shared sorrows, happy memories, teasing(ok maybe a little). I keep thinking what is the big deal? Shiva and Raavi might as well go and start over with someone else for all the progression between them. They might find it easier with strangers at this point 🤷‍♀️ The only thread they are hanging on by is the "He is my husband/She is my wife" 😐 There is literally no other reason they are holding on to each other. And that irks me. Yes marriage is sanctimonious, and you should definitely strive to work with your partner in a marriage- but the how are ShiVi any different than pretty much any couple out there 😕

@bold, Yes! And I think part of that has to do with how fast Shiva fell for Raavi. He spent years building up hate for her, yes there were moments where he cared, but he spent years calling her all sorts of names. Chipkali, Chudail, Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti, etc. If the CVs just slowed down and showed us more than just Raavi willing to jump from the terrace, I would've believed it. All those shared moments would've given us a chance to see the Raavi that Shiva fell in love with... because him falling in love with her just because she's willing to give up her life doesn't sit well with me...

Not to mention the lack of conversations... when they had the scene with Raavi dancing and Shiva singing, they were interested in different styles of music, Raavi and Shiva's style of fashion is different, Raavi likes eating Indo Chinese cuisine while Shiva prefers homecooked meals... they have a valley of differences. As an audience member, I know they have similar values, but do they know it themselves? It's why this MU would've worked better if it was shown much later, when Shiva has had enough moments with Raavi to realize that there is no one better for him than Raavi.... 💔

I wish this was a Gautam-Raavi conversation instead of a Dev-Raavi one! Somehow Dev giving Raavi gyaan about relationships and understanding Shiva isn't sitting well 😕

And you have to see where is shiva is right now he is at his lowest , at this point he doesn't consider himself worthy of anything even if he knows English , even if he better than those friends in every sense he will not see it that's what insecurities/ low self esteem do to you

At this point shiva gets riled up at everything so English tu bahut badi cheez hai

Oh God somebody put the poor boy out of this misery

And those who are praying for raavi's kidnap , how will that change anything pray something happens to shiva maybe then raavi will think deeper about her feelings towards shiva

If there's anything more green in this episode, it is Dev singing 🤣🤣 I lost it with laughter when that irrelevant scene played 🤣 It's such a luscious green that I am willing to re-watch it in the future just as a pick me up because god knows how awful the next few episodes will be 🤢
