Note on Shiva's insecurities: I think people are taking his words at face value. My take is while he is harping on tel, masale or English, his thinking is more deep rooted. It is more about a personality change. He also knows he could learn English at any time or dress nicely(like the bonfire night). But he cannot not become "Prince Charming" day-in and day-out. At the end of the day he is a simple man, who is probably talks brashly with people(as opposed to being soft-spoken and polite). If he starts changing one by one, he will be unrecognizable at the end, and probably not comfortable in his skin.

Think of it like the introvert vs extrovert person- as an introvert I can maybe be outgoing and mix with a lot of people over one, may two evenings- maybe also say a few months. But very soon the facade will become emotionally draining. And I will want to revert back to my old self for mental sanity.

Shiva feels Raavi is looking for a band-aid fix for their issues. Either he changes or she changes. She can just compromise and suppress her desires. But how long would that last. When would the compromise start becoming a burden? Comprimising because you love someone might be different from compromising because you have no other option. The later becomes a unbearable burden very soon.

I love this take on insecurities 🤩

He was always super comfortable in his own skin, and that's what I loved about him the most. Even when Rishita was complaining about Shiva's dressing style, Shiva didn't say anything. Rather he said he cared more about Dhara's opinion, and I think it's because Dhara always accepted him for who he was. Despite all the nok-jhoks that ShiVi shared, I don't think Raavi ever understood Shiva. She might have protected and stood up for him (i.e., chole scene), but there were instances where she complained about his dressing or his scent (i.e., scene where she sprays perfume on him while riding his bike), and he knows this.

Raavi's Prince Charming was always something he could never achieve. She wanted a well-educated man who dressed well, likes to play peacemaker, and led a nice stable life. Shiva was always happiest when he was able to love his family, play silly pranks, and work in the store. He's someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. But, I think where he is going wrong is expecting Raavi to accept him. He's ahead in their race to a relationship because he didn't ever love someone in the past, and because he sees what love is with Dhara and Gaumbi. He's forgetting that she felt an insurmountable pain on her wedding day. To him, compromise means she will never love him for who he is... and I wish he understood that they could take it slowly but still fall in love.

Sneha, those boys, seeing Dev everyday are a constant reminder of what he is not nor will ever be. And yes, he might think Raavi is forced to be with him, no other option in sight... but, he should also understand that unleashing his anger on her is also wrong.

As for Raavi... she needs to learn how Shiva thinks and breathes. She understands the distance, but doesn't make an attempt to inquire what his beliefs are. This is the first time she spoke to Dev since this MU began... and that too it's because Dev made the attempt to speak to her...

I think I am actually done with them.

I have had that happen to me before… quite a few times. Not sure if I’m fully done yet. But I’m getting there 😆

Why I'm getting this feeling even makers love Shivi story but are forced by SP to give Gaura the importance becoz there story has more mellow dram to drag in audience

Becoz after last week good trp aren't. We getting good Shivi screen space aswell as scenes becoz now they are not under peer pressure for trp 😊🙂😌

(Just my thoughts on this baki makers ki maya wo jane )

Becoz when baar baar apko script change scene edit karne ko bola jaye toh you are bound to failao aa raita

I am feeling bad for Raavi. She doesn't deserve this. I wish she would have been happier if she married someone she liked. No girl should have to compromise.

I thought Shivi had their tiny universe, but seems like Raavi is more interested in Sindoor, Mangalsutra stuff.

I don't think she deserved this comprise after going through so much in her life.

And for Shiva, I agree he never really wanted this marriage, but he never rejected her right from the word go. He doesn't deserve this too.

Being in an unequal relationship can scathe anyone, especially when you see your wife who had feelings for your brother sit and discuss her marital grievances with him.

It's high time Dev stops being a shoulder to Raavi.

Okay, Guys, I have watched the episode and the episode was good but not really. The only problem I have with today's episode is that Raavi talks to Dev about Shiva. If I was in Raavi's place, even if Dev was the last person on the earth, he would not be a choice. I would've been happy if that was replaced with her monologue. Or if she tells the same things to Shiva. Now with MU increasing Character growth is decreasing. There is no progression! Or am I not seeing it?🤪

Now I'm hoping that this would just sort out and we see the other beautiful tracks of the original.

I really loved that scene..atleast that shows her thinking.. she is thinking shivas problem with her is because she is not the kind of the girl shiva wanted..when it's all the other way round..shiva was taken aback there...

Shivi really don't have anyone as their soundboard

Shiva won't open up and gaura have tried but they don't see beyond the surface issue

Raavi can't talk to Mami coz she badmouths shiva and. Talks about divorce

Anita is useless and her advice might be worse than her schemes lol

Neither can talk to Krish lol

Suman is crazy lol

Dhara the architect of their marriage is too stressed and again might start blaming herself and more melodrama

Gaumbi and raavis equation might not let her open to him

Dev was a bad choice due to the history but then the same history also has him as the mediator since childhood

Rishita might have been a good choice for raavi but she might have started fighting with shiva when he got angry and the fight would have worsened lol rishita is as volatile as shiva so you can't trust her mood swings lol

The irony of it:

Both wanted to move on:

One in Love

One out of duty as a wife.

It's really complicated as HELL
