In old interviews interview, Shagun always used to say Rajat- and her are inseparable and she is closest to Rajat on set. But this time she said there are 2-3 people and took Param's name before Rajat. So I just used my over analytical skills😆. There may not be anything.

Whatever it was I am glad it didn't spoil any if the Malhotra sibling scenes.

I started watching IPZN 2 months ago and I can't believe I've become so attached to Ishqaan and the Malhotra siblings' story. I don't want this show to end so soon. There is so much they have not touched. We have not even had a proper Ishqaan discussion about Ishqi's work and Nandram and Nandkishori. 😭

To be honest, I'll be a little disappointed if Ishqi is pregnant with Nandram/Nandkishori at the end.. only becuase her character/personality/maturity level up until now never seemed ready to be a mother. Parakshita content have been a great distraction over the weekends, but it is Ishqaan I want to continue seeing onscreen. 💔

What do you guys think of the likelihood of a season 2?

I feel like it’s hard to say. I’ve not seen much of that in ITV, so not I’m not sure how it works. Even if it does happen I can’t see it happening for a few years. I mean they would have to get the schedules of all the actors to align and actually have a decent story to tell. They’ve got so much they haven’t addressed yet but would it be enough for another season? I’d hate for it to flop in terms of bad storytelling/writing 😬

Oh and what would you guys like to see if it ever happens? 🤪 I still wanna see Ahaan pull the Nandkishor/Nandkishori act back on her haha

(I’ve edited this post so many times just to add more thoughts 😂)

I think there are no chances of season 2. Only show that got proper season 2 is KRPKAB. I personally would make my peace on 20th Aug as there is not really a hope. The actors would get busy in their other shows and if any of them is doing other daily soaps they will be locked in for atleast an year or so. Then there is not gurantee that writers would do justice to season 2. I am not ready to see Ishqaan with kids which can be cliche route for writers. And I am defintely not ready to see it without Kartik-Sonu-Raj-Bhola-Chacha-Chachi-Maasi-Savvy-Sarlu-Gini.

My ideal case for season 2 story would be continuation of current track. Maybe leap of 4-6 months to cool down everything. I want same actors, same writers(even if they messed up lately because of TRP pressure, they are stil better than many others) and better direction team.

How is Ek Duje k Vaaste?

Which season is better?

Are they worth watching?

I actually usually watch finished shows when I get the guarantee that yes that is a good show.

I took the risk to watch IPZN while it is still on air. And it will also finish now.

This is the first time I have to spend weekends wondering what will happen next 😂

S2, IMO, is dependent on whether they resolve the Dadi-Savvy arc fully or leave it open to interpretation.

The other point is that they've put Ahaan and Ishqi on a bit of a pedestal as a couple with all those promises they've made to each other, so if one party doesn't quite live up to those (like Ahaan in Friday's episode), the viewers become a tad disillusioned.

In such a scenario, it then becomes a bit tough to create a MU between leads, especially if Dadi-Savvy are not involved. They could still do a variety of things though- make Ahaan's father responsible for Ishqi's parents' death, perhaps even Ahaan's father having had a EMA with Ishqi's Maasi.

I'm not saying they couldn't do S2, but all things considered, I think it doubtful. Especially with the same cast.

If there is a season 2 I hope it happens before this year comes to an end and I hope from beginning to end is planned properly. No dragging. I just want a few more months to help bring Ishqaan's story full circle while weaving sensitive topics like victim blaming into it. What I love about this show is how it encourages discussion on these topics. No one really is good or bad. Everyone has their flaws and their actions, most of the time, have been in direct relation to their circumstances (note, I am not including Daadi in here as i am unable to wrap my head around her deeds at this point).

I really hope season 2 with the same cast comes soon. I don't live in India, so i wouldn't mind if they brought back season 2 exclusively on the web.

Hii Anamika di🤗

I can't tell which season is better because I haven't watched 2nd season.

But 1st season was good. We used to watch it daily, so I think it is good. Can't remember much.

Have you watched Yeh Pyaar Nahi To Kya Hai? It was good too. It was released in Sony so you can find it in SonyLiv

If there is a season 2 and Ishqaan do have kids, I want to see Ishqi mess up. I don't want to see Ishqi as super mom, atleast not so early. Again, her having kids so soon after marriage is out of character for her. While Ahaan is shown as very mature and a good older brother and so will be a good father, I have not seen the same with Ishqi. Her character is still very impulsive.

The jealous Ahaan we saw in the Holi episode, with the auto drivers and even post leap whem Karthik hugged Ishqi still intrigues me. I would want to see that explored. Especially as up until now Ahaan thinks his mom left them for another man. We know it's not true and Ahaan will soon find out too, but there is still something there that intrigues me. I trust IPZN writer can address this in a mature way and even set an example through AVM and his character progress.
