Tired of the family drama

I don't know about others but I'm sick and fed up of the family drama. Those who claim this show is like SGP, it really isn't. That show was much more realistic where MILs don't OTT scream every other second, parents behave like brats or offsprings are degraded in the name of correcting their ways.

Point is, I was really excited for this show. Still am but this family drama has really bored me to death. Upar se the MIL keeps screaming and giving those ott expressions, she really looks out of place in the serene star cast.

I really am watching the show right now for Amrita and Karan scenes. They are so good. I've been waiting for Pritam's entry but at the pace they're going, I don't think that'll happen before a month or even more.

Like seriously how long will they keep the ML away, it's getting absolutely frustrating.

That's y i am reading WU ..pace is too slow ..will watch when ML makes an entry. He is fairly decent actor so hoping that pace will pick up soon

I feel they should replace the actress playing the mom. She is very limited.

And it’s high time they start with the main content. First dolly ki shadi, now angad ki shadi. Next they’ll start with soni’s shadi. Then back to angad’s next shadi 🙄😬😑😑😑

I am losing my patience now. With the pace they are going it will take a very long time for the main story. And on top of that Amrita's MIL is very irritating and she is the only one who behave so OTT otherwise other characters are good. She is a bit toooo much. I think they should replace her or something.

And most of us are here for Pritam's dark backstory and Amritam story . He'll! They are treating him like a background character. For God's sake he is the ML. Give him some more screen space. His character is intriguing and Hasan is a natural actor , they should give him his due.

But one is for sure Amrita - Karan scenes are gold, both of them just feel natural and on top of that their bgm is soothing.

Just hoping they start Amritam story soon.

Today's episode has more Pritam then all previous episodes combined.

I have to agree that the family drama is too much but I guess they are establishing context and the working of the household.

I simply skip episodes or judt watch highlights. The episodes have just gotten boring, same old format. Family fighting and laughing, someone degrading Kabir, MIL going crazy, happy karan memories, sad karan memories. Episode end.

Nothing new. I'm done. I just hope judging from the precap they would be swift progression otherwise nothing new in this show

I do feel like this is show that revolves around the family so don't mind the drama. But it also revolves around the ML so waiting for him to move in asap. I want to see his dynamics with the family. Hope it's not like KRPKAB where it took ages for them to break up. MIL is way too loud though but to be fair I do believe there are people like that. They are annoying to watch but what can one do?

Not only Kabir, I don't get why the family is so insistent on comparing everyone with Karan. Karan was amazing no doubt, but the Sakhujas have four different kids-Angad, Karan, Kabir, Soniya who have different qualities. Don't see how they all have to be Karan.

I agree with you! I think the reason why SGP worked was that they focused on the family AND the leads equally. SGP also had a light-hearted tone and comedic elements that were genuinely funny and it pulled it off, here the family "comedy" seems very forced and cringy (IMO) the only scenes that work are Dada-Dadi and I guess it's because they're veteran actors.

They need to have an episode with Pritam fully now, the family drama is a bit much, they need to show it equally. I don't even think they've mentioned Pritam's name in the show itself.
