Btw, my thoughts on the axing of IPZN and introduction of BALH 2.

Just a theory on how KRPKAB 3's poor first week TRP might have actually hurt IPZN as well.

~ Sony's original plan was to axe IPZN, with BALH 2 possibly taking its place.

~ The fan protests, plus BALH's struggles to get a female lead (Divyanka and Devoleena's names were taken at this stage), make Sony rethink about launching BALH 2. This is when the IPZN extension news started doing the rounds.

~ KRPKAB's first week TRP comes in, and it's poor despite Sony's MASSIVE promotions and buildup

~ Around this time, Disha Parmar appears to be coming on board. Sony realise that if BALH is launched after KBC ends, it could potentially sink in terms of TRP's as well.

~ To maximise BALH's chances of doing well, Sony feel they must launch it now (so that it comes at 10.30 just after KBC, and the Disha-Rahul marriage makes her a very relevant current figure for the masses)

~ Sony's choices now are to put either IPZN at 11 or axe it in favour of BALH. They choose the latter.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought after seeing frist look of BALH 2. I wish Sony had kept KBC for only one hour.

This is the other big point- KBC for one hour would've definitely saved IPZN, but they seem to be hell bent on the 90 minute format (which is also being used for Super Dancer and Indian Idol I think)
