Don't rekindle the past, it is done and dusted

Filling in for Aps today.

First up, I watched the episode keeping aside my expectations and must say it was a good watch.

Think it all goes back to the reboot of Adi bringing Imlie to his home and his equation with M at the time. It is a reprisal of sorts and the pace was good. I got some good vibes.. and may be an unpopular opinion but this track seems to be taking off on the right note.

Aditya is on a roll man, the man admits to being flawed and wears his flaws on his sleeves. He admits them and makes him stand even taller in my eyes. He brings M home as he was put in an untenable situation and did the right thing by bringing her home as they shared a past, ended things on a good note. He asks Imlie if she is ok with his decision and was probably sounding her off, I had no choice but to bring her here. Imlie reads him and warmly welcomes her Dd with a hug and a smile. The girl is so pure and heart. ❤️ Does not for a second imagine that Dd has entered the T house with a sinister design, that has been plotted by Anu and executed by M.

BK again taunts Adi by saying he forgot to ask M's permission when he came home with I and Adi reminds him that he committed a mistake and does not want to repeat the same mistake. He wants to know his wife's opinion and that she is comfortable with his decision. 👍🏼

Now this is what I wanted from Adi.. he shuts everybody by saying that is all in the past, let us move on. He does this numerous times during the epi and it felt good to see him say that. The man gives zero faraks to his past with M, he has MOVED ON. M is nothing but a friend and nothing more He also displayed his humanity and kindness by bringing her to his home. I hope Apu appreciates the fine man her son has turned out to be.

The trio of A, I & M (AIM) are leading the patient to the guest bedroom and M recalls her mom's words and promptly tries to faint, to garner some attention from A. Such a pathetic desperate woman, who is willing to resort to cheap tricks and lies to get back her MAN.

Dev returns home and there is Anu sitting like the Khaleesi in her GOT.. it was all gold.. all that glitters is not gold.. she was in a gold colored sari, the chair was gold color.. it was all a GRAND setting that is ultimately going to crash and burn.

Dev and Anu exchanged heated words with Anu revealing that their daughter loves the wholesale tripathis shopping and even though she hates them all, she had devised a way to send M back as she loves them.

Dev leaves promising to be a good father to Imlie and protect her from Anu's devious machinations. He does not know that it was Anu who poisoned M and sent her to the hospital.

M on the phone with her mom who is keeping a close eye on the happenings in the TH, advising her on the next steps.. when Imlie walks in, offering to sleep in the same room as M, in case she needs anything at all.. M rudely reminds Imlie that she needs her space and for Imlie to stay in her place, she will stay in hers. Indirectly taunting her, saying you are nothing but a maid, I am the bahu n the wife. Anu asks where she is put up and on hearing the guest bedroom, devises a plan to send her back to Adi's room.

Adi meets I in the kitchen where he apologizes to Imlie that he should have called her, consulted her before bringing M to the house. Imlie reassures him that both would have made the same decision and could see that Adi was afraid of hurting Imlie, as he knows her penchant of hiding her hurt and pain. Adi is making sure Imlie is aware of his actions and does not want to keep her in the dark. Discuss about KC... and they are going to call him to the T House to meet Dd.

There was a scene in the bedroom again where the 2 ladies bring tea for their fave.. and try to rekindle the past...Then Radha.. that woman.. can someone please stuff her mouth with jalebis n samosas so she does not speak.. starts recalling the glorious time when Adi first brought M home... when Adi shuts down Radha saying that both he and M have forgotten the past, why bring it up.. leave it where it is.. Meanwhile Apu promising to reunite AM n kick Imlie out, that is overheard by Imlie.

Now the junior Ts have a special mention. ❤️. the trio of NishVi and Rupi are wondering at the sudden appearance of M in their house.. they know well how much Anu hates them all and begin to wonder.. their brain cells are working sharply unlike some of the seniors in the T house. Special mention to Rupi di as she asked point blank - why are you here M, wont you be better off at your house? 👏

The dreaded part where we were all discussing the sleeping arrangement of M.. tries to maaro entry to his bedroom and back to his life. Goes in by saying that she is so lonely... and alone... poor me...

Aditya's reaction was so good here, his body language his tone... all that of a friend.. totally formal and treating her like a polite stranger. Man that was a good CHOP. He did that 3 times today and we should keep score .... people. 😆

Next up the biggest CHOP for M when she slyly asks him if Imlie has moved into his room. Bechaara innocent Adi replies that she will move in only on acceptance by the family first and not before. How he cannot wait for that to happen...hoping it happens soon. When M mentions that the walls are empty, he talks about his plans for the makeover of the room when Imlie shifts.. with a bookshelf for THEIR books, a mandir for her Sita Maiyya etc etc... and he is all animated discussing his plans for the makeover.. 🥳🥳 The man has made it clear in a 1000 different ways that he has moved on... he considers her only a friend..

Precap -- Truly reprehensible act where M sleeps next to Adi in the same bed... who is unaware of her deviousness.. Imlie walks in with the breakfast tray and spots them in the bed.. crashes.. and Adi jumps off the bed as if scalded by hot water on spotting M next to him.

Aaj ka episode was to show the difference between innocent love and manipulation. It was to show simple humanity v/s genuine saath. It showed how despite everything, some people never change, be it Imlie, Adi or Malini.

• Today was day 1 of Malini trying to "win" over her soon to be ex-husband and lines were crossed, but unfortunately the people involved were completely unaware of it. It started when Imlie ran to the door going "mera piya ghar aaya" and went to hold her Malini didi's hand, who subtly pulled out, showing her emotional distancing as well. See Malini reminds me of a typical single child who suddenly has faced the prospect of a sibling at a very older age. That jealousy and anger of having to share your favorite possession often overpowers the logic that on the other side is your own flesh and blood, who you are bound by nature. Malini wants to ignore Imlie's good side to justify her plan to win over Adi, which is why whenever Imlie shows her care and concern, it bothers Malini. How much ever I want to hate Malini, she is not completely devoid of a soul like AC. Hence even though following her mother's plan will give back her prized possession, Imlie is the curve ball that she cannot discount. It is like kicking the puppy because it wanted to play with you. While you may try to justify your action, saying that you do not want to entertain the animal, but you cannot ignore that all the puppy wants is your love and attention, and it is not the puppy's fault that you are removing your frustration on it. So no matter how hard she tries, Malini is going to get pangs of guilt seeing Imlie's love for her - everytime she hurts Imlie. That guilt is what is going to ultimately whitewash Malini, which is the situation I dread the most, but will happen to continue to keep Malini relevant to the story. Do we need her to keep the story going - ofcourse not. Do we have a choice - unfortunately not. Also, Malini's delusions keep building up to suit her purpose. Her ideas of an ideal marriage that only focused on the physical and showy aspects of the relation were what made her assume that Adi's basic humanity and care for an acquaintance on par with the attention you get from your husband. Adi having ignored her for so long in favor of Imlie has triggered this intense need for her to magnify every basic little action as something much more that it actually is. She wants to believe that Adi is showering her with all the attention she craved for him due to this plan, promptly ignoring the signs that he is doing this only out of sympathy for her health. These delusions will either expose her intentions, or dissolve with the truth, to the extent to finally get her over Adi. My bet will be on the former, but let us see how this plays out
• Imlie wants to very badly hold on to the image of Malini she has built up in her head. She wants to put her on that pedestal for accepting Imlie as her sister and Adi's wife. She brushes off any sign that shows her Malini's true intentions as she does not want to face the fact of Malini being two-faced and lying to her. That is why despite her experience during the kidnapping track or even the subtle clues she got today, she refuses to recognize DD as someone who is currently manipulating the situation to get back Adi. Even with the precap, while she got a shock, I will not be surprised if she believes what Malini will say and just let it go. But my hope is that she recognizes that something is amiss and that she needs to read between the lines to really understand the current situation. While I do not expect Imlie to openly challenge Malini, I want her to atleast remind Malini that she is Adi's first wife and no matter what, she is not going to let go of her rights now. While I doubt that will happen, one can always hope. Her innocence and constant need to ensure that her sister is fine sometimes really worries me how she will feel when the truth actually does come out. Coz when it does, no matter how much they whitewash it, Imlie bharosa on relationships is going to take a very big hit. I hope that Adi is able to assure her with his constant support and pyaar, but DD's betrayal is going to really affect Imlie's psyche and trigger her insecurities enough to prompt her to leave again, despite whatever Adi does to prevent it.
• Adi was, is and will always be clueless. This guy will ever come out of his basic delusion that people are beyond what they seem on the surface. Like how he is still unable to comprhend how his mom is not able to accept Imlie despite everything she has done, he is unable to pick up clues from Malini that she wants him to be more than a friend. See the issue with Adi has always been that except for Imlie, he has never scratched beneath the surface for anyone. People berating him for not pushing Malini to know the truth behind her apparent suicide attempt have forgotten how Malini herself had once lamented that Adi never showed woh haq wali zid to make her do something she did not want to do in the scene where he made Imlie drink the milk she had got for Malini. Adi is one who will push once or max twice before leaving that person, as he does not like to interfere too much - he did it even with Nishant, where it was Imlie who made him do the drama. Except for Imlie, he will never probe beyond the token enquiry expected out of him. Hence when Malini did not explain and just mentioned she felt alone, and AC insisted that she felt happy in the T house, bechara Adi assumed that she wanted to come there to spend time with Imlie and him, as Imlie will cure her of her depression. Gadha kahin ka. But the stuff that I really liked today was him clarifying at every point about his intentions towards Imlie - be it to his family, Malini or even Imlie herself. Him talking to her and making sure they were on the same page, him reminding his family that he no longer wants to discuss or allow anyone else to make him relive past memories to suit their purpose, or even elucidating his plans to revamp his room to make it suitable for Imlie and him together. Each action made sure that the other person cannot doubt his endgame - spending his life with Imlie. If they do not want to accept, it is their issue, but according to him, he has kept his promise of ensuring that Imlie gets the place she deserves in his life. I am sure that the incident shown in the precap will prompt another session between Adi & Imlie where he will assure her that she can trust him, to which she will give her affirmation. For once I want him to see beyond Imlie's token "I am fine" and really see that this has affected her and deal with it properly, but I doubt any such thing will happen.
• Special call out to the Jr. T's especially Rupi di - her raising questions on Malini coming there and then wondering why AC allowed her to come despite she hating the T's was heartening to see. This gives me hope that team Imlie will be able to see Malini's karastanis even if Adile remain blind as a bat to her manipulations. I was a bit bothered on not hearing from PT on any of this, so looks like Aparna must have given him a warning based on last night's defense. Bechara ko ab thode time ke liye ya toh chup rakhenge ya token dialogues hi denge, till someone else flips. Also controversial opinion, but something tells me that the precap may shift something in Aparna. See currently Aparna also believes that Malini is this sacrificial devi who has given up her rights for her sister and can do no wrong. Seeing this side of Malini may raise conflicting emotions in Aparna. While she may want to be happy seeing Malini & Adi together, but seeing how it affects Imlie and the way this entire situation has been orchestrated, I have a feeling Aparna may start feeling some twinges of guilt. This may land up as the trigger to initiate Aparna's road to redemption. While I am all ready to be chopped, let us see how tomorrow pans out.

Kuch na likhne par bhi I landed up writing a very long essay, but today's conflicting opinions just prompted me to put my thoughts about each of the characters. Today's episode has made me feel better about this track, in the sense that it will have its share of cringe, but overall a lot of open loops will be closed.

With Adi ka dil dimag Duniya revolving around imlie DD really thinks she can win back Adi.. She treats him like a toy trophy ya koi bejaan cheez.. Lagi rahe.. Adi bhinkarya rahega iski chop..

Adi's chop session from start to end was good .. Imlie ka khayal is utmost concern for him n he knows his jhalli so well k no one will ever feel depressed in her company..

Apu n Radha lagi padi thi GB ki seva mei n thinking of patching her up again with Adi.. Kaise log hai ye zabardasti ki bhi limit hoti hai... Imlie ye sab baatein sun rahi hai hurt hogi n at some point of time looks like she's gonna leave.. Again Apu Radha try to bring in past n Adi ne jo Radha ko shut up karawaya.. Phir imlie kaha hai usko collg ko late ho raha hai.. He's got his priorities sorted..🤣 Dil ko thandak..

Phir bhaga banda biwi k paas.. Since bringing DD home till he talked with imlie in kitchen uske dimaag mei sirf yehi chal raha tha k imlie ki permission nahi li to hope she understands.. N waqai his jhalli understands n knows him more than himself

N end mei she is again back to her pendulum state.. Inse nahi ho payega.. They left that open with Dev ka statement also.. Whitewash nirma wala karenge ye DD ko..

Today moved the story in a direction where there is no return for everyone… all the actions have equal and opposite reactions… Aditya is already paying for his actions!! Now it’s Malinis turn.. to rip what she is going to sow..

Aparna, Radha and BK - All were reminded that Aditya is a man of substance! He was a mountain who was moved by Imlie.. now he will move mountains to be with his jhali! All accused and reminded Aditya how he has wronged Malini.. and he like a strong human being accepted that he did do wrong and he has apologized to malini and doesn’t want to repeat same mistakes with Imlie!!

If imlie was a cricket match.. aditya was Mahindra Singh Dhoni!! He made everything crystal clear to everyone!

Jr Ts have had their share of doubts.. and definitely asked right questions but how much that will impact overall trajectory of the series we can’t say…

Dev and Anu - One doesn’t have head and another doesn’t have heart. Tonight Dev judged Any correct.. told her she is using her own child as a pawn in her game and he at the same time tried to white wash Didi by saying it’s not her fault.. it’s Anu’s.. so we know after this how WW of golden bahu is going to be.. 😵‍💫🤮😵‍💫🤮😵‍💫🤮

malini - well all I can say is feminism is dead today.. she needed to feel loved by Aditya yeh konsa pyaar hai jo games khelke haasil kiya jayega?!?!? Her desperation is beyond me.. i think only imlie will know KCs truth.. and then things will get more interesting… Malini was also extremely rude towards imlie but saying stay in ur place.. but was ready to jump the gun n move in into Imlies place.. 🤷🏻‍♀️


Imlie is zoned in DD prem that she didn’t notice that Malinis behavior has been anything but friendly towards her. Malini has time n again given reason to imlie to question her behavior but imlie currently in her Didi prem is not questioning Malini… will it be stay after pre-cap?!?? I don’t think so.. imlie is observant.. she has picked up nuances that are very subtle and that’s why she was able to judge everyone and every reaction correctly! So I am sure after tomorrow imlie will keep an eye on Didi or directly question her..

Aditya - today’s hero was Aditya from shutting everything down from the past to making future plan with his jhali!

The way he described the reimagined room ohh my eyes were lit! Everything was for imlie… place for books n place for Sita Maiya! Jab Malini aayi thi kisi ne na poocha tha ki kya decor chahiye.. aur abhi Aditya is all set to do it for his love! 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍

Few noteworthy lines and scenes -

1. Aditya saying jab humaari shaadi ki photo lag jayegi yeh kamra rukha nahi lagega.. symbolic in two ways… malini never added any color to his life as there is nothing that was changed post malini or pre malini but with just a sketch imlie will bring spring into BSs life…

2. jis banduk shaadi ko yaad karake Aditya gussa karta tha and aansu bahata tha.. aaj usko yaad karake muskurata hai!! 🥰😍🥰😍
Love changes u and how.. most depressing point in his life is the most precious to him now. ❤️

3. Aditya’s reaction after seeing malini was beyond scared.. he legit felt he saw a ghost! And he did sleep in one corner 😂
I want to see his apology tour after tomorrow’s kaand 😂

Highlight of todays episode was adis chop of didi by saying kamre ka naksha hi badal denge and him looking dead scared after realizing didi slept on his bed🤣.

It was a good story progression episode today👍🏼. Begins with dev pointing out to his wife that she will use anyone as a means to exact revenge for her own unhappiness over his tryst with meethi. Abhi ke liye use patha nahi hai ki mrs.c ne malini ki jaan ko khatre me daali to force her entry into the t house under the pretext of wanting to help her daughter reclaim her place in adis life. Then her real toxic face will be revealed. Remains to be seen if he ends up doing anything to show malini the right path let alone fulfill his khokla promise of protecting imlie as well. Koi ummeed nahi hai is se.

Dono chaturvedi maa beti sahi track me jaa rahi hain apne mooh ke bal girne ke liye. Malinis entry in the t house begins with the terrible t trio mooning over her and apu baring her claws at imlie when adi seeks imlus opinion of whether she is comfortable with his decision🤢.

Bk equates this to how bad malini would have felt when he brought imlie home🤢. Behude log accept karne ko tayyar hi nahin hai ki circumstances completely different hain, imlie should have rightfully entered the house as a bahu even then. Malini ko adi isne daan me de di. She was wronged then and she would be wronged again if adi were to ignore her sentiments now.

Loved rupi di for questioning why malini did not go to her own home where her parents could take better care of her. Mujhe is baat pe yakeen nahi ho raha hai ki anu aunty ne iss halath me malini koyahan aane diya suggests that the junior ts are beginning to feel something is amiss.Didi thanking her mom for planning her entry into the t house was 🤢.

Apni mom ki advice pe loneliness ka bahaana maarke adi ke room me aa jaathi hai. Aathi hai didi adi ko unki shaadi ki puraani yaadein jathane. Miltha hai unhe a much in love adi jo unhe bathatha hai wo room ka naksha hi badal dega🤣 innocently conveying how happy he is to move on with his jhalli🤣. Waat pe waat pe waat imlie ke liye bookshelf, seetha maiyya ki mandir and finally their framed portrait drawn by imlu🤣

Precap is indicative of didis desperation after failed attempts to remind adi of their connect if at all they any beyond the gehri dosthi🤢. Ab use dikhega a madly in love with eyes only for wifey imlu waala adi😳. Hoping they show some lovely manane waale scenes between adilie.

Dev for the first time did not stop with 'just shut up' you just shut up. When Anu revealed that she sent M back to the Tripathis as the loves them, he was appalled as any father would be or any sane person. He asked her how could she do this to her own child?? All in the name of avenging Meethi and Imlie.. she is using her own daughter to avenge her humiliation.

It was never about M's happiness at all, it was all about her. Her daughter is also just like her where everything and everyone should revolve around her, like she is the SUN.

Dev actually called out M by saying that she is not going to get 'Mother of the year' award for her deviousness. He said all that we have been saying all along - disgusting and using her own kid to avenge herself.

I was glad to see Dev speak up the truth for once instead of keeping quiet. he was v upset with anu for sending M back to the Ms when she was trying to overcome the difficulties.

Also Imlie ka false eyelashes are not there... 🥳 she looks so lovely without them.
