yeah, just was trying to read back on what all of you are talking about. After watching the organic growth in Raghvi, this track seems to be forced onto us just to have Mandar around and Raghvi suffer. I was having so high hopes on Mandar track but this is leaving such a bad taste. I’ve been fast forwarding all the Mandar scenes, just can’t seem to tolerate. Been watching some Turkish shows in between just to free myself of all these stress. I feel they are better written than our Indian shows.

The dark maroon from staircase scene with the single thick trim/lace is chiffon or georgette.

The light blue floral and the pink floral are organza or muslin - probably organza bc it appears to be soft.

The net would be the black one we saw in a BTS and the white one with a hearts (personally hated the design of that one). And I think it's just net achal (anchal?) and the rest of the saree is georgette/chiffon. I'd have to take a closer look.

The (often) silk (banarasi/handloom/handwoven) are the ones that are darker silky ones with the gold motifs/pattern.

Her yellow one we see in the kitchen when she's making kheer for Raghav in precap - I think that's muslin.

Often times my family design our own lehengas / kameez/etc, so that's why I know about different types of fabrics - thought I'd share the knowledge here.

Thanks for this!! I never know what the material is called and then I try to search for a similar saree online but get completely different results😆

Was the saree from today (in the kitchen scene with Kaka) also net? or was it georgette?

This might help a lil bit atleast😆

My trips to BD are primarily just for shopping for new clothes and buying fabric to design new clothes, buying matching lace/trims, etc. And food. Seeing the rest of my family is just a bonus 🤣.

@bold: 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That saree was too dull for her and without her usual flashy make up that they do, that saree literally made her age 10 years 🤣

No problem!

The blue floral one with the blue and gold trim is most likely muslin or organza. Its a similar style to the sabyasachi organza floral sarees.

IDK where you shop online, but search "floral organza" and similar ones should pop up :)

And i hate the fact that half of the time they never show the real Pochampali, Ikkat and Ajrak. Who are they fooling? I think they avoid Muslin because it can wrinkle up easily. but mostly it is Chiffon/ Georgette/ Crepe for her pre wedding look.

IKR. She's only, what, 24?!?! Even someone as traditional as her - wearing THAT?! I get her love for handloom/handwoven but yikes it wasn't cute.

Before this I didn't know that they were organza🤣 But now I know ...

I usually search on google and hope for the best.. I don't wear sarees so only need for special occasions or just you know imagining myself in them😆

Not so expensive silk one, rather a mix with poly

Ahh yes crepe - forgot about that one! It's so similar to georgette I can't tell the difference on screen. Chiffon tends to be much much lighter weight so I can see the difference for that one. Muslin with starch - I think wouldn't wrinkle too much - but yeah she doesn't wear it too often at all anyway.

@bold: and yep - they never show the real ones you mentioned.
