Am i the only one who actually doesn't like colour co-ordination? woh cringe waale wedding videos ki yaad dilate hai.

Side note, i think after Khichadi the another family ensemble who were extremely co-ordinated was the Oberois family (Ishaqbaaz) ek hi thaage ke kapde pehente the.

I think for photo aesthetics, color coordination is a must. But it's not necessary at all LOL. I'm glad they don't over do it in this show. I remember Ishaqbaaz too hahaha. They do it in AKNNS too.

My cousin does it IRL with her in-laws bc they're really into it. Poor girl can't wear half her lehengas + kameez's bc her husband doesn't have a matching kurta yet 🤣

I think its not that people don't understand she has tremendous love for her family, it's why that is now forcing her to put her marriage on the back burner. It was somewhat tolerable before, but her decision to obey the kasam is, I think, what really threw everyone for a loop.

Before, when she did all those things, she was a single girl. When you get married, whether you are the husband or the wife, it is different from when you are a single person in your own family. She has to take her husbands feelings and even to an extent her MIL's feelings into consideration about these delicate situations.

In this situation, it is not just Pallavi's life that her decisions are affecting. And the question people have is, why does she not see and do something about that? It's affecting her marriage yet she can't bring herself to prioritize it over her humanitarianism, why? If Raghav comes to beg her to come back to RR mansion, will she go? What if Raghav gave her the same kind of kasam? Who is she going to prioritize? Which is why everyone circles back to, what is it really about D fam that is making her feel the need to consider their needs above everyone else's?

She has a savior/didi complex - I agree. But eventually she needs to see how it's affecting those closest to her.

I hope that's the outcome of this track - her understanding that she needs to create boundaries for herself.

Well said and rightly put. One of the major reason why i got irritated with her when she left for Vikarabad without informing anybody. She is now a married woman with responsibilities. She has to consider the Raos, even if she is sure about her safety.

In her defense, Amma and Raghav (though reluctantly) have both accepted her need to help Deshmukhs so i am giving that thought a rest. If you see, Raghav is much mature than VD, he did request for Pallavi to come back as soon as possible. So he will not give all this kasam wasam. Agar de bhi di, toh tab dekhenge, abhi jo hai nahi uske upar kyun itna sochna?

I have a feeling that SS has reserved her reason for gratitude in some track, maybe this or another. I am like all is eagerly waiting for it.

Agreed she needs to set boundaries for herself, which she will soon do (nahi kiya toh maarna nahi, SS ko hate mail/ Howler bhej do)

IDK if this is an unpopular opinion but I actually really like Raghav's kurta. Its bold but IMO he pulls it off well and it looks good on camera... I'm not one who needs coordination always but for aesthetics, Pallavi could've worn something that was golden-hued, maybe even yellow, etc., to match better. At least she's not matching with Mandar either 🤣

Most of my cousin's abroad wear all color coordinated clothes for every festival😆

I get surprised bcus even if I am there for some festival - we hardly think much about which outfit to wear now-a-days🤣

My theory is that she was deeply hit by the sorrow she saw Vijay and Sharda go through when Mandaar died. And seeing Mandaar come back to life, it's probably triggered all those memories in her and when she sees Vijay desperate for his son, she is taken back to the man who had a heart attack that nearly killed him when said son died, but still took in his widow and had her back, and itne mein woh pighal jaati hai. This thought first came to me when they took Mandaar home for the first time, and Vijay was stunned, and Pallavi gently held his hand and said I'll tell you what happened. She spoke to him in a much, much warmer tone than she ever has since the night she was thrown out. Because I think part of her is addressing the Vijay from two years ago, and not the Vijay she knows now.

Of course that's just my interpretation of it, I get where you're coming from too.

I will give it to you...that's not a bad theory at all to make some sense of her behaviour. I remember how she had gone all soft on Vijay when she brought Mandhar home. She empathises with the man who lost his son and now with Mandhar back, she is mentally associating with a grieving helpless father who just wants his son back.. I just wish they have her talk about all this with Raghav (when they get time) That'l not only clarify her stand for the audiences but also for Raghav.. Not that he doesn't understand why she is doing what she is doing..but he still needs to know the reason for her going to this extent ..besides maybe then he will ignore VD instead of humiliating him which is only making matters worse for them.
