She ain't doing this for mandaar. She is doing that for her aayi baba whom she considers as family or even more than that since that feeling of debt and obligation towards the D's has not eluded her yet .

Also pallavi has always been an over giver ,who'll prioritize other people's happiness over her own .We used to see the same before marriage and now again . Only difference her happiness is now connected with raghav so we are feeling bad about it because raghav also has to suffer in the process.

Maybe this track will help her tone down a bit , she'll realize she can't function without R anymore and finally learn to be bit selfish if that is what she thinks she is being by chosing her own happiness.
