Ishk Par Zor Nahi has been in the news for a while now as the reports about the show going off-air came out, followed by the reports of the show getting an extension. Until yesterday evening, fans were of the opinion that the show has gotten an extension and will continue for the next 3 months. However, that is not happening after all. India Forums got in touch with Shagun Sharma regarding the same.

On not getting an extension, Shagun said, "It was indeed a shock to us that show is not getting an extension. Nevertheless, the journey was interesting and the fans support was massive and amazing! I will always carry the good memories of the sets. It was an amazing show and I was working with a great bunch of people. So that family like atmosphere will be missed.''

Earlier, Param Singh had also expressed his disappointment about the show going off-air and so were the fans. When the reports about the extension came in soon after that of the show going off-air, fans were in absolute awe and couldn't keep calm.

In fact, Shagun had also taken to Twitter yesterday as she posted about the show going off-air and the fans were disappointed just as much. While they have been trying to demand that the show be moved to OTT, that doesn't seem like something that will be happening after all.

The ‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’ fandom is surely going through a tough time. Sony TV show ‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’ was to go off-air from 20th August 2021. However, the news came in that the show has got an extension for around three months. The cast and the fans of the show rejoiced and how. But, yesterday night it was clarified that the show isn’t getting an extension. It will go off-air from 20th August 2021. The fandom of the show got extremely disappointed and they took to social media to share their disappointment.

India Forums got in touch with actor Param Singh, he said, “Well, the news was quite unexpected. A bit shocking as well. Nevertheless, I had an interesting and enriching journey as Ahaan Veer Malhotra in the show. Want to cherish all the great memories with the cast and crew of ‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’. Only gratitude to the makers and the viewers for showering so much love on us"

Expressing his thoughts on the same, Rajat Verma who plays the character of Kartik in the show said, “Well, we were very happy with the extension news but suddenly received the information that the extension has been cancelled. It’s surely shocking and disappointing. However, we can’t really do much about the same than accepting it”.

‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’ is produced by Gul Khan’s production company Four Lions Private Limited and Deepti Kalwani. It features actors like Param Singh, Akshita Mudgal, Shagun Sharma, Rajat Verma, Lakshya Handa among others.

The first time around it wasn't that bad for me. Obviously dukh hota hai cuz habit ho jaati hai but I feel getting over has become easier these days, rather one has to learn to. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism the channel displayed. Announced extension; the cast and crew started working on it and then cancelled it. Not done imo
