Yeah, it was more like her catchphrase while Ishqi used the female version (Nandkishorii) to refer to their imaginary daughter, which we will never get to see no thanks to Sony 😆😳

Is it just me though, or does the show have a very early 2000-ish feel to it? The makeup, OTT bg music and the dialogues remind me of those Ramola Sikand type Ekta shows with badi bindi and geometrically shaped sindoor 😆

I like how authentic their casting is though, at least for the leads. I know ITV doesn't have many options to have an inclusive cast but I've never been a fan of people playing characters belonging to certain regions (Ekta's typical fascination with Punjabi, Bengali, Tamilian, to name a few) and then saying the regional dialects/languages all wrong It kills the mood for me. At least with the character of Raghav, broken Hindi feels authentic.

RED: I fear that too. It's unlikely, especially nowadays, to repeat a pair. Pehle phir bhi Ekta would often do that but I haven't seen this happen for other ITV shows (except for KRP maybe). 🥺

I joined the MHRW bandwagon rather late TBH, potentially around their forced marriage time. Primarily because Kumkum Bhagya's focus shifted from Pranbir and to a rubbish track that involved original ML dying, waking up because of Patni Power, then losing his memory, becoming some kind of man child, then being accused of rape, then ending up marrying the person who accused him and then ML/FL separating.

The leads are what keep me hooked to MHRW- I loved the FL' s sarees (in comparison to what our poor Sonu gets 😛). It also helps that a Marathi speaker is playing the role of the Maharashtrian FL and a Telugu/Marathi combo dude is playing the Hyderabadi ML.

I made some ten odd points previously in this EDT about what I expected/liked from a show- MHRW doesn't tick all of them, but it ticks them far better than other Zee/Colors shows on air. Like the recent car accident track- they found the culprit pretty quickly, and without too much drama.

PS- as someone who speaks Hindi with loads of "aap" and "hum", some "tum" and very little "tu", I would struggle to do Don's dialect. 😆

I think it will be a perfect last scene, all 5 of the young clan sitting at the adda sharing a drink

Just for the records, Arpit is lying. He is saying confirmation Nahi tha so he did not tell. But in his last live he DID SAY confirmation aa gaya hai he wants to tell us but he can’t. He was all happy and his body language was totally showing that extension is confirmed .

But his luck is good so he did not tell it and yesterday when decision was changed, he took all credit how he is SACHHA and ACHHA. Now he is saying confirmation Nahi aaya tha pehle.

Liar man

My memory of the show isn't that strong, but I think she would've been happier with Osama- I know she rejected his proposal. Zaroon barely adjusted for her- IMO, Osama would have.

That's one of the reasons I didn't like Zaroon. He developed a liking for Kashaf after he'd matured, seen the world and became further insecure about independent women. Osama liked Kashaf the way she was, from the very beginning. I guess the point was to show two incompatible people coming together and making it work but following their biggest MU, I don't recall Zaroon asking for forgiveness or apologizing to Kashaf for keeping her in dark about his meetings with his ex-fiancee/friend. It was not okay. I cannot blame Kashaf, with all her lifelong insecurities and trust issues thanks to her dad, for doubting Zaroon in the first place. The show never addressed it directly as far as I remember and it was an issue for me.
