Shaurya and Anokhi have finally met.
First, they were introduced to each other’s soch which both of them rubbished.
I like the way their differing thoughts were intriduced as a negation to each other.
Second, was the collision that earned him a sorry and her a label of “bloody pindu”. Can’t wait for meeting #3!!!
The bloody pindu automatic response to what he saw shows what type of opinion he has of people from small towns...
As Shaurya said to Shagun that he’ll find someone that will value him more than her education. Little does he know that he will learn to value his girl’s education over himself!
“Shaadi meri maksat nahi hai”. Anokhi’s dreams are simple. She wants education as a means to financial and social freedom. She’s watched her papaji control her mom and sister. She’s seen the freedom Aastha has due to her education and job. She knows society’s expectation for her. She has the fight. She would rather leave home than be controlled. Anokhi is admirable for her tenacity!!
My only problem with the marriage issue is Anokhi has a colored picture of marriage just like Shaurya has the same negative thoughts about working mothers/married women.
Shaurya’s indifference when he sees the Kapoors is chilling. He’s able to toss out someone that he had more than a two year relationship with. He’s so detached that he laughingly advices the Kapoors not to force marriage on Shagun. The words are wise but delivered mockingly.
This indifference could be the only way he can hide his innermost turmoil and not having anyone to confide in it is better to build a defense wall around himself. He is seen seeking tht support from BM, but the latter keeps harping about him being a Sabherwal and above everybody. BM has this idea that he is perfect and he does not want to disappoint her by telling her what he needs and misses. He is supposed to have everything best that life can offer.
Precap: Can’t wait for Aastha & Shaurya and Anokhi & Shaurya to come face to face!!
Thoughts?
First spark that will light the fire in Shaurya and awaken him to real life is to begin.
