Even the Mehendi show is a remake--this is like BW doing remakes of all Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam etc. blockbusters and using old song remakes in them.

Jyoti, Bepanaah--couldn't follow any of these till the end, saha bhi nahi gaya raha bhi nahi gaya 🤣The only good thing about rangu is their OTT, Voot has some originals I actually enjoyed.

ohh i forgot ...i did see naagin one on rangeela but left it before it concluded...and madhubala i watched for few weeks i think..i had completely forgotten 😆..i did not have the courage to sit through another Ekta ki naaghin

Star ka motto is such a mockery to them...na rishta badla na socch ...and the last i saw anything on zee was jodha akbar...i have been loyally following sony and sab tv for a long time....i love waagle ki duniya...huge fan of Sumeet Raghavan ..taraak mehta has become a complete drag now but atleast sab has good shows without much OTT drama...

i cannot believe how much zee has compromised its quality for ratings...they used to air such amazing shows earlier..from sailaab to astitva ,such forward socch those shows had..abhi dekho ??

Somehow, I had no idea SAAKK was a remake of Mohor😆 Some of my friends were legit crazy about that show.

Now that I come to think of it, most of Star Plus shows in the recent years (in fact, the last decade or so) have been remakes of its' Bengali counterpart Star Jalsha's shows, like Sasural Genda Phool, KKBW. I know most of these by names/plots even though I never followed any because that's how popular they were, locally as well as internationally. The only exception where the opposite happened was probably SJ doing a remake of IPKKND. Needless to say, that was a hit too😆

earlier it used to look like Ekta Kapoor in house channel...😆..star has a huge reach in towns and rural areas..hence they are mainly targeting them..i doubt they even care about bringing in fesh content if these stale stuff gives them profit

Were we? I think we expected they will give us some big fancy announcement but honestly the way Sony/PH have handled the show so far, I won't be surprised if they just assume that we'd somehow, magically know that the show's been extended by our sheer willpower and imagination 🤔😆

In this information age, I personally find remakes tough to watch, especially if the original's story is already available in depth on Wikipedia (like Kusum Dola) and the adaptation is a frame by frame remake.

Could probably watch smaller remakes (50 episodes or web series types), but I'd find it tough to invest 6 months + on a show when I know the storyline. Thankfully for Sitara, some of the smaller regional language shows don't have full summaries on Wiki , so it keeps the element of surprise intact😆
