Oh the regional version was very popular. Some folks I know used to follow it until they showed a leap after which the little girl was all grown up and it became a typical planning-plotting saazish story😆 But if I remember correctly, Life OK/Star One or probably Star Plus had a similar show adapted from the original. Kitne remakes banayenge yeh log? 😳

The original ones weren't romance-themed at all until the FLs grew up. Yahan LM ka kya kaam? Please send him back to IPZN sets😳 Aur kuch nahi then at least let him walk the current team through the basics of good cinematography and screenplay

Star is acting in on Anupama's success ..even that is a remake na...so as long as they get huge ratings ,they are ready to beg,borrow,steal bakwaas from anywhere😆..i broke up with star decades ago ...the last i saw anything was Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate .Star and Zee...my pathetic exes 🤣and Rangeela channel i never even dared to watch even when my mother was the biggest fangirl of BV and Uttaran ..zabardasti she would be telling me about each episode...😆

Here you go: this was already remade, even the OST composition was the same as the regional one😆

Star basically recycles any show that becomes a hit in its regional network. Bengali, Telugu kisiko nahi chhod raha yeh Raju Taarachand😳 Not sure why they would remake the same thing unless something new is being offered?🤔

Same with me. I can't follow Star shows anymore. I give it try but they always disppoint me. Anumpama, Ghum, Mehendi, Shaurya (it ended last week), Imlie (Gul show), Aapki Nazron wala, Pandya store, literally everythign is remake. I think Sath nibhana is sequel or remake of old I am not sure. But not new concept either.

Pagal ho gaya hai Sitara. Rangeela ki to kyaa baat hain never followed anythign except Big boss for couple of seasons.
