There are a lot of government schemes in which farmers get easy loans from the banks.. also there are many moneylenders from where they get loans without collateral. They take money from all possible sources and use it for all these luxury services that they use.

Later, when they are unable to payback the loans they have no option but to sell their lands.

I know too much in detail about how the farmers system works here up in the north especially. And it's nothing like how the media or the governments show it on the TV and newspapers.. that's all theoretical. Won't divulge into details but.
