His problem is not the diary, it is the fact that he is zameen and he thinks she wants aasman. And the fact that she thinks he is jaahil, gawar and unfit for him. He doesn't know her thoughts have changed, and he won't believe it until she clearly spells it out to him, both in her words and actions (more than once 😆)
