Thanks for such a beautiful update Neerja! Even without watching the episode I can feel Sai's pain.

I wanted to write yesterday on what was a powerful dialogue from Mohit - that Virat gets away with harassing her because Sai has no one to question him on her behalf. So close to reality. One disturbing aspect of Virat-Sai relationship that comes to the fore now and then is how lop-sided the relationship is. She is an orphan - and almost entirely dependent on Virat for her sense of family. On top of that, there is no one to speak for her ...to ask tough questions to her husband and in-laws if she is in pain - which happens often with Chakrams harassing her day in and out and when Virat crushes her self-respect and trust in his crazy state.

I'm glad Pulkit took Virat's class. It was long overdue. Ashwini failed in that respect - she should have slapped him during the PD lunch incident. Also, Pulkit showing the mirror to family. Can't wait to watch it. So, so glad Sai has someone she can turn to - friends whom she can trust, friends who have genuine affection, care and concern for her. ❤️

I want to ask Kamal Sir wherever he is in heaven "what were you thinking when you took that bullet meant for someone else? Look how much pain your nanhi chidiya is in now. "

Sorry for my silly question but what is AF?

As per KD, after realizing his mistake would Virat meet Ajinkya and ask for forgiveness? Will Sai and Ajinkya be friends after this incident? Ya that was the last scene of Ajinkya?

Thanks for the update, going to watch the episode. 🙂

Not sure if he apologized in KD. Yaad nahi.

Fithy AF meaning Filthy as f**k!

AF is an exclamation that stands for "as f**k"

Basically its slang for "superlative" 😅😂

Yeah felt for both really. But virat needs to get some gyan because his upbringing has to be rubbed off from his mind. He might be a nice person but subconsciously somethings stick to you because what you see and how you are raise. So pulkit has done that for him.

Strange as it might sound, he might not have judged any woman like he had judged sai. See he protects pakhis respect even though he knows what she is! Because she is her elder brothers wife and cannot talk about her like that. But as a husband he thinks he can say Anything to his wife and get away with it. 😬 I know he is vulnerable and out of fear he spoke those words but it would have costed him their lifetime of happiness. Things like this one has to learn from experience or by seeing others. Pulkits words helped him there.

Ps: so tomorrow will sai herself will ask to see him or devdas will fight for it?! Thank god for once I like this suspense 👍

Pulkit's actions today I think will force Virat to truly realize the extent of what he has done... not just today, but in the past as well. This time, he cannot just take the easy way out, cry, and apologize. We all know that if Pulkit had let Virat into the room, Sai would have immediately melted seeing him in this state. He would have explained himself, and she would have believed him... because she, too, is in love with him and cannot fathom staying away from him. That is why she was even more shattered today. I'm really hoping that this marks a change in his behavior and that the same things don't keep repeating themselves like they seem to have in KD.

What you have written about how he has never judged anyone like Sai... all his emotions are heightened when he is with her, and he is already extremely impulsive. So, while he loves Sai more than anyone else, his other, negative, emotions are also always more evident towards her than anyone else. He really needs to use this as a reality check moving forward.

Beautiful post and very apt title.

Ayesha Singh take a bow...mine also.

We are fortunate to get Ayesha play Sai Joshi. She just transforms herself into Sai in every scene. It doesn’t look like she is acting the role. She makes us feel.,,this is Sai Joshi in reality.

The episode stands out as one of the best for Ayesha’s mind blowing performance. I still have tears in my eyes and why not? Sai’s pain could be felt by most of us and so our hearts bleed for Sai.

Pulkit is savage today. He showed mirror to Chavans and realised that he should take a stand for Sai who united him with his love Devyani without thinking about consequences.

Mohit is right. Chavans don’t deserve Sai Joshi . This boy is winning hearts and how!

I felt numb on seeing Virat’s pain. Yes he did wrong but it is true that he has no life without his Sai. And it is the same with Sai also. These two love each other till eternity.

Virat started seeing Pakhi’s reality and hopefully with Ninad’s revelation,he will get the clear picture. This time I want him to blast her like never before. Fingers crossed.

Neerja, you have written all of this so beautifully ❤️

Like your title says, Ayesha stole the show today. I truly think it was her best performance till date. I was sobbing with her. Even though she came out of the accident alive, her eyes were almost lifeless.. and yet, you could see the pain pouring out of them. The second she woke up, she started crying. She remembered everything that Virat had said to her. It completely broke me when she asked Pulkit if he thought she had done anything wrong. She knew that she was right, but she just couldn't fathom why Virat would treat her this way... and as she said, she's used to Virat saying whatever he wants, but this time, it was the way he acted that hurt her the most. The tone with which he spoke to her, how he refused to listen to what she was saying, the way in which he treated her friend. It all broke this girl from the inside.

What stood out to me the most was when she told Pulkit that Virat's behavior made her feel as if she has no one... no home. In that moment, she forgot about the love she gets from aai, Mohit, Shiv bua... anyone else... because, at this point, Sai has given Virat the spot abba previously held in her life. The person she respects, values, and loves the most. And for him to treat her this way, she felt as if she is now left with nothing. She had made Virat her home, and today Virat's actions made her feel as if she was entirely alone in the world. Her breakdown missing abba was even more heart shattering. When abba was alive, he never gave her this much pain. He was her entire world... her protector....her everything. Again, the fact that she broke down for abba right after saying she had no home shows just how much importance Virat holds to her... because to her, Virat is now her entire world, but abba never ever treated her this way. So, it hurts even more.

Ayesha is truly the most dedicated, hardworking, and passionate lead we could have ever asked for 😭

Pulkit was on absolute fire today. It also seemed as if he let all of his pent up emotions from the past 10 years pour out. He knows first hand how vile this family is... so perhaps that is another reason as to why he was able to understand Sai even better. He stood firmly against the family, calling them out... telling them that he knows they don't give a damn about her. He knew that Virat was broken, but today Sai was all that mattered to him. He was not going to fall for Virat's tears or anything else. One of the most powerful lines was when he told Virat that if someone had done this to Harini, he would have killed them. Today, he saw Sai not just as his little sister, but as his daughter...and there is nothing stronger and more protective than the love a father has for his daughter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mohit sealed the deal for today's episode. Truer words have never been spoken. This family of vultures does not deserve Sai.

Throughout it all, I felt for Virat today still. He is an entirely devastated man who hates himself for what he has done. His expression of relief when Pulkit said Sai was out of danger, followed by extreme pain knowing that he would not be able to meet her. He knows what he has done, and he is not going to forgive himself EVER... even once Sai has.

It was great to see Virat putting Pakhi in her place today...telling her that she should be ashamed of herself as a woman for defending his actions. This seems like it is just the beginning, because he truly looked like he would burn the entire hospital down in the precap.

Wonderfully put!!

Ayesha was tremendous today❤️❤️❤️

Sai’s pain was unfathomable… the most important person in her life mistrusting her, broke her heart into million pieces…

She missing her aaba was heart wrenching.. coz it’s true, nobody can ever replace one’s parents..

Pulkit was on fire today!!! He felt Sai’s pain as he now sees Harinee in her💕.. the way he shut Kaku and the entire family was applaudable👏 Love, what you wrote about him.. all his pent up rage unleashed today..

Mohit again made an exemplary remark.. their family doesn’t deserve Sai.. 💯 true

Pakhi’s beizatti was the cherry on top.. expecting more tomorrow

Loved both your perspectives. Virat needed the shakeup from Pulkit. Not just in terms of showing him the mirror but in taking over her responsibility and being firm in taking her to his place away from Virat. I have always been disappointed with Ashwini on this score - she was too soft with him. But then poor woman is weak with prolonged harassment herself in that house. Virat's redemption has always felt incomplete - and Sai's trauma always trivialised. It has been tears and pleading and then romance a couple of episodes later. There is no strong condemnation nor addressing the issues. Writers have redeemed themselves somewhat. Or has it been the result of our numerous complaints to the Broadcasting Federation?

See there exists a dichotomy in Virat. Due to Ashwini's teachings, in his head he holds an ideal - that women are equal and that one should respect women. But when he's overcome by emotions, his assumed ideals slip away and we get to see the real Virat - who had imbibed a lot of the toxicity and patriarchy of his family. I don't think he himself would have ever thought that he will ever behave like this. But it is very close to reality - how many women have we heard who have said that the man they married is not the man they fell in love with? While I understand where his inability to handle his emotions come from, his actions cause so much pain and humiliation to the other party that it cannot be brushed under the carpet. I'm glad it was addressed today.

If the writers want to be revolutionary, they should show Sai moving to a hostel and show a genuine progression in Virat - by having someone help him in dealing with his emotions and taking responsibility for his actions.

Sorry, bahut lamba ho gaya. It came in a flow - feels close to home somewhere.

Many nice anslyses here, but I beg to differ with the para in bold. Virat is a serial offender who has no problem forgiving himself after a couple of self-berating episodes, and then repeating the same mistake in another form after a couple of lovey-dovey episodes. It is a pattern of abuse-realise-repent-overcompensate-repeat behaviour. He was devastated & hated himself after the time he denied her food. Then he was more devastated & hated himself even more after he threw her out. Now he will be devastated & hate himself a few notches higher. But none of the ‘devastated & hate himself’ realisations have led to a permanent change in mentality & therefore behaviour. So I don’t see why it will improve this time. I believe Sai has given him far too many chances & she should now permanently leave him.

Now, I know there are many who will jump in & point out Sai’s lapses such as deceiving Virat wrt Devi’s marriage etc. I am fully in agreement. But are those mistakes as reprehensible as Virat’s? She is 18-19 & vulnerable, compared to Virat who is ~30 & a trained police officer. Are their maturity levels & wordliness comparable? And most imp, Sai often doesn’t realise her faults or errors - but if someone like Aai supportively tells her she may make a genuine effort to improve. Virat, on the other hand, fully realises his blunders yet proceeds to repeat them. What to say of that?

I didn’t understand…in the precap…Ninaad reveals Pakhi’s role in the misunderstanding and yet in the end he says “Mera kehna ka woh matlab nahi tha”. What does he mean..will he change his statement tomorrow ? Hope not…
