But jab se all these demands for Pallu being assaulted to set her straight have happened (and it wasn't one post, one got more attention, but I saw so many people asking for this, here and on Twitter), I'm just angry and disappointed. This is a fandom that's 99% women. We've all been in scary situations at one point or the other, be it a guy who just can't take no for an answer or creepy insta DMs or an overfriendly colleague with no respect for boundaries. We all know of at least one friend who's been seriously harassed. We all know the rules of staying safe- raat ko baahar jaao toh kissi ko bata ke. Phone humesha charged rakho. Location humesha on rakho. Uber mein ho to map pe nazar rakho. If possible, go out with men you trust. Self defense seekho. Pepper spray rakho.

When us women, who live lives like this on a daily basis, to an extent that all this is second nature, can wish such ill on another woman, fictional or real, it breaks my heart. And not that there is anything that can make one 'deserving' of such treatment- never, ever is it the victim's fault, but what has Pallavi done to warrant such ill will?

Exactly this is hurting me so much. How can a woman wish anything like this for any other women. This is too much now. Paani sar se upar beh raha hai. It can affect the next gen too. How can they try to normalise such things. We all may have been through such instances and know how disturbing and traumatizing it could be. We really need to do something on this.

I love his 100 episode wala interview. His thoughts are so clear, when he said I can't make a woman character weak wo merse ho ga nhi, he took my heart.

Nikhil will make an entry back to the show--he isnt getting replaced at all--we have to wait until his family matter are resolved--I hope it happens soon and we get him back on sets of Kolhapur
