When Apu called her mitti it reminded me too Adi's that dialogue of mitti n chandan. But the main difference is Adi had this pattern..he used to get concerned about her n then to cover it up he used to become nasty. That care n concern is missing in Apu's case. I so wished to get a glimpse of her genuine care abt Imlie.

Arre why jhootis, even I thought of teh same mitti & chandan dialogue when I heard Aparna do that comparison.

But end of the day, chand pe daag hai aur mitti maa hai - chand is good only from afar, but mitti is what holds us, loves us and protects us. The way Adi realized that chandan sirf thode quantity mein hi achcha lagta hai, too much and it overpowers, but mitti is all around you that nurtures you and protects you at all times. Similarly, the day the Sr. T's realize the diff between moon & mitti, they will also fall in line like Adi.

So there was a legit reason why Adi hated her in the begining before his second PD trip. He thought she married him to suit her purpose - to get settled in the city, as she had told him that was her dream. Even when he lashed out, he made a point to tell her that it would be hard for her to leave his house if she goes about connecting with everyone in his house. And thats why he has been showing her her "place" in his life!

Even if we draw parallels, he realised she had been innocent all along just before her confrontation, and he never hurt her after that. He realised she was not trying to snatch him away from Malini, she was as helpless as he was then. But Aparna knows EVERYTHING! That she is innocent and its wrong to torture people like that provided shes been at the receiving end when Anu made her classist taunts. She's loved Imlie before as well, unlike Adi who started from ground zero.

We can only say that they REACT in similar fashion but from the moral side and beliefs they are two different poles altogether! Thats why IMO Aparna is irredeemable!

Thank you Anikal. Imlie aur tum logon ke chakkar mein fat se promotion bhi ho gaya. Itni mehnat job main karti, toh shayad wahaan pe bhi hota, but koi nahi, kahin to promotion hua hai😆
