I'm really happy with the show post leap! 🥳

They chose the perfect Badi Bondita, the chemistry is sublime and honestly, after such a selection I have faith they will try to ensure to give us a better storyline.

I don't keep much expectation because it is still ITV, at the end of the day and frankly, they have already messed up many times preleap despite the social issues they bought up so It's okay for me to give them a bit of leeway if certain things are being dragged right now because the show is still MUCH MUCH better in comparison to others on ITV 🤪

Hello, I am a silent reader so far but I would like to express my views here. I am not happy with the show post leap or at least with the current track with VJ. The love story and romance seems totally unnecessary at this point. Bon has returned from London with her Sakha Babu's memories, no doubt! but as soon as she witnessed and understood the current situation, her focus should be how to solve the problems between TP and KN with her knowledge and her Barrister degree and in that process, solve her own personal problems as well. May be Ani could involve himself in that and they could have shown Ani's inner turmoil while facing Bon and how Bon with her intelligence and knack of handling things, break the walls around Ani and eventually they become friends and lovers. Romance and all could be the underlying current in that journey. This way at least viewers will not forget they are Barristers for god's sake

But nah, makers want to take the typical ITV route and induce the unfathomable romance and scenes which are very very far from reality - Let alone reality, makers are not even considering the era the show is in.

and the worst part is, the scenes which could have been the pivotal scenes of the show, like Ani seeing Bon in Barrister robe and his first laugh with Bon etc are already shown with VJ. I wonder what is there to explore when Ani comes to know that VJ is Bon.

I really wish once the TRPs are achieved, they bring the show on track and give us proper content.

I feel the same way😊, I'm not at all happy with the show post leap, first the romance between anidita doesn't really sit well with me but ok this is itv so they will definitely do, but then I had thought skipping the relationship dynamics I will watch for social issues atleast, and its already almost a month and not even a single hint of anything like that. Come on bon is a barrister and all she's concerned about is pyar, pyar aur pyar!! Are they planning to show her degree as useless as ani? And they literally missed everything that could be a delight to watch, ani was supposed to be so proud when his little bon became a barrister, but zabardasti ka itv route, nafrat and all. And is it only who is unable to connect with the characters? Ani manhandling bon🤢? He's a feminist for gods sake!! Doesn't matter he doesn't know if it's bondita or vj, but still its just out of his character!! Hope they don't continue with this and make him a complete mcp.

And I'm not really finding bon the way she's supposed to be seen by us, she's 20 now, not 8 or 9, she actually became much more mature and sensible post the mano track(credit goes to ani and his terrible guardianship in that track of course), and now I'm not finding her cute, chirpy or bubbly actually, she looks out of character, but I know itv writers are extremely inconsistent with writing, they forget how actually a character is supposed to be.

And this immediate romance and adhura pyar is cringey as hell to me!! Ok, love could be shown developing from both sides, slowly, it could be better, though I'm least interested in their love story 😆,but could definitely watch skipping all that and watching the relevant part.

The way they are showing this accidental romance and bathtub scenes, the itv symbolism of they are made to love each other is creepy as ani saw her since just 8, if he had to be shown falling for her then obviously he had to first see her as a woman and come out of his vision of her as a little child he once cleaned whose bed wetting(though I still find it weird, but as this is itv, so fine). By the latest that happened in the show, they used og anis mannerism for his little bon and vj said I will make you realize your love, I seriously don't want that to happen, how can love be realized if it not present!! It was platonic love, and vj clearly wanted him to realize the romantic love. Now if they show ani saying I was in love all this while, I'll die out of cringe🤢,hope it actually gets shown as vjs misunderstanding.

Before the leap, the criticisms were there but the promos could be misleading, now I actually don't feel the promos were misleading, if that's the case, I'll surely bid a complete good bye soon enough, though I'm still not watching(following wu and insta feed se)was waiting for social issues to start watching, hope the wait gets over soon, and when they achieve the desired trp, they actually serve us something Good👍🏼

Even pre leap, the show lost its essence after the molestation track itself, despite that the mano track had a lot of potential, the concept was good, handling a child's cm induced crush and freedom fighting along, but they killed it by the nonsense they showed then, again the next track could have been great, it started good, I had absolutely no issues with the annulment, but wanted them to atleast show the plight and condition of child brides but no, cm law is passed, that too by anirudh roy chaudhary(God knows what history they have read), and tapur(or tupur whoever), actually got married to that pedophile chandrachur, they couldn't set an example.

They had a chance of regaining this lost essence post leap but they choose the typical route

You are right, the show lost it's essence many times pre leap but somehow the leads were able pull it off nicely. Even post leap, casting is perfect. But it is the current story line which is pushing some viewers away. Hope they realize this and bring back the show on track.

what I can never understand with this ITV is, why do they deviate from main story and emphasize on love story/romantic track separately? why can't it be shown in a subtle way weaving into the main story?

anyway, it's their baby and they can do whatever they want with it.

This is the exact problem with itv, every show starts off as something new, different, but ends up with the same thing called romance, the hunger for trp is quite evident, bb was such a good show since long, even if there were itv cliches, still the essence was maintained since long, now it just looks like another daily soap

@bold- yes, this forum is definitely a sane place! I've literally seen forums where people go on to say, don't watch the show instead of writing it here even when their beloved show is minutely criticized 😆
