Ohk you're quite the optimist Anita, but the thing is I didn't like Aishwarya's choice in HDDCS.

Reason being: The film just ended up glorifying that arranged marriages, even if forced by your parents are the ideal choice to follow 🤔

Like ok maybe what Ash felt for Salman wasn't very long-lasting and maybe just 'jawaani ka josh' but then what about Salman? That guy waited pretty long for her, wasn't it just as much of a sacrifice? What he felt for her was real too cuz he let her go towards who she loved so nope not a fan of that movie.

Ash just played the pendulum here, she should've either remained loyal to Ajay as she had married him or loyal to Salman cuz she loved him, instead she juggled the two.

Same goes for Fateh, if you married Tejo you should be completely loyal to her or if you love Jasmine then you shouldn't have f***** Tejo!!!! Dammit I still can't get over Tejo being played like that.

Like I saw the promo and felt a few of my brain cells die. Like srsly?! She didn't even cut her wrist, it was just a finger dammit!

Oh that horrible movie. I don't want any comparison with it at all. What love? I mean if there's any love then it's between salman and aish, they knew each other. Ajay was a chamdi, he just saw aish is pretty and fell for her. Only person who had any integrity was Salman's character. Aishwarya should have said no to the wedding and not drag anyone's life in her mess. Ajay should have talked to her before the marriage rather than just thinking family will set everything up and it'll work out. And their families.. Ugh. Jitna kam bolo utna achha. Tbh I don't think fatejo situation is in any way similar, because their relationship even before marriage was drastically different.

I only enjoyed the show after ajay's entry. Agree she was a pendulum and forced marriage concept but again it was her destiny that she was married to ajay and she realised towards the end

Ajay was unaware of her feelings for salman

The fact that he even helped her to search salman and gave her away was touching

Which husband will do that

If it wasnt for ajay the show was a crap

Aishwarya was obssessed with salman and she couldnt get over him

Thats what i related to fatejo and chameli

The underlying concept is similar

Tejo is how ajay was

Humble wise and giving

I feel the makers want fateh to realise what is true love and which sister is more sincere in her approach

The first night thing was deliberately done for the coming tejo"s breakdown upon fateh"s betrayal

Could also be to create a dispute between jasfa

What will be jasmin's reaction if she knew about it

I dont think she will take it

Wow, both of you had contradicting yet amazing views on the movie. I actually don't lean towards any of the characters, I disliked Ash's character for being so indecisive and having trouble sticking to her resolutions, Ajay's character for being shallow and non-initiating, Salman's character- I don't have much to say about him actually 🤗

Well honestly it's weird to review something I saw more than a decade earlier and wasn't my favorite, so don't even remember much, especially the details.

Also tejo will divorce fateh will sacrifice and will reunite them? 🥲
