The whole bubbly punjabi girl is tiring and I’m so glad tejo is portrayed as more than that.

This is coming from a personal point of view, but rich guys usually aren’t driven or lack any such depth because there’s nothing to achieve. So I’m not hopeful when it comes to his characterization.

I think this is one of the most balanced replies and you’ve eloquently described everything I wanted to say. It’s probably going to sound condescending but people who are overreacting on twitter or anywhere else sound a little too naive to me. Arranged marriages involve s*x before any foundation is even laid but here we’ve had a proper build up to even justify this step.

oh ya for sure no issues that we can identify. i guess thats also what makes him so far removed from any semblance of reality. even rich spoilt brats have something wrong with them- they're spoilt. he just seems like an overall perfect person living the perfect life till jasmine. he gives that- hasn't ever had a pimple even wala feelings. i think thats also why he is like- this is the end of the world with the whole jasmine thing. much potential for improvement but at least he's not irritating toxic man punjabi as is the trope in itv. i'll watch a bit to be hopeful but im hopeful about being hopeful? 😆

They have highlighted all his plus points and there’s nothing to fault him for? Even when he was being a “rebel” there was this goodness displayed throughout the ordeal so you can’t even hold that against him.

He was being ridiculous right after their wedding but the makers redeemed him to make him endearing soonish. So glad for the lack of toxicity 😂

I watch shows with minimum hope to lessen the inevitable disappointments

I guess I just expected Fateh to express his desire through communication before getting physical with Tejo. I do want to believe that Fateh LOVES Tejo and isn’t completely aware of his feelings. There wasn’t a feeling of emptiness on Fateh’s face when he woke up, so I’ll take that as a sign of a “meaningful” consummation. Still he gets minus points from me for allowing himself to get distracted with Jasmine’s thoughts for the hundredth so time :/

I feel like the issue was mostly that Tejo and Fateh were on a different page. That isn’t really Fateh’s fault but after the car hand holding he had an idea that they were on a different page. Moreover what annoyed people much more was the promo where he told jasmine meri zindagi mein tumhare alava aur koi nahi ho sakta.. I mean that’s just not done. In any marriage, I doubt the spouse would accept that. Before the consummation I thought they were sort of husband and wife but afterwards I went okay they are normal husband and wife and to do that to your wife is just…

that dancing scene is edited it was 1st marriage function of tejo they again used it.its not the fresh scene

I truly must say I was surprised that there is someone who enjoyed it.while the rest of us are sharpening our swords and just waiting for even the tiniest bit of chance that fateh will break tejos heart which will be enough for us to cut him into pieces and through him into the sea . I was beautifully shot and had great scenes but the worried mamma in me was just gripping on to a frying pan to beat fateh into a pulp. But as for what is to happen next is not something I'm worried about being a downright sadist that I am who loves a great amount of melodrama in movies and shows. I have already started stockingup packets of popcorn. Being a diehard action movie cult fan I was quiet surprised I was watching such crap but the chemistry between fatejo kept me hooked but that doesn't mean I have changed my mind about cutting him into pieces and selling his soul to the devil.
