I think they set up the entire promo and dialogues with loopholes. It can be that he will tell Chameli that he thought he will only love her but now he realized that he has fallen for Tejo and wants to be with her. And Chameli again goes crazy and cuts her finger. Otherwise, Jasmine doesn't seems to be the type to harm herself easily. She could have come up with some other excuse to stop the engagement (after all she is master liar). I think they cut the promo deliberately that way to confuse the viewers and keep the suspense.

I think fateh never truly knew jasmine or anything about her. It was your typical one sided love purely based on looks. He got to know her during their supposed wedding but even then, he had more meaningful scenes and conversations with tejo.

Yep! Loved Geet at one point in time. Maan was such a brilliant character (for a while ofc) :)

And as far as the jasfa warriors are concerned their just a bunch of lunatics in a mental asylum accidently put on heroine marijuana and stone instead of medication for their mental state to calm their nervous system . I was in love with how sharp maan's character was. Dude could see every saazish from a mile away. Though I hated how they redeemed dev so left it(imo what Dev did, it's unforgivable.)
