But I am not sure if itv can accept it , it would be a very mature approach hence I think makers may not take the route .

Itv makes its lines very clear on the character in terms of white , grey or dark

That's how they explain the story in simple words šŸ˜†

Yes that’s the only reason they have made it clear beforehand ki he will be a ā€˜grey’ character. They will turn him negative!

Itv audience is too immature to handle such a track. Pta chla trp aunties are out there with a morcha ki mandaar is first husband toh make her go to him. Issliye makers are like panga hi khatam, we will make him shady šŸ˜†

Somehow I got reminded of Baalika Vadhu today. In Baalika Vadhu we see two kids getting married,spending their entire childhood and adolescence together in good and bad. However, they don't become the soulmates that they were expected to become.

The guy goes to town for higher studies,there he meets a girl and falls in love with her. That was the first block among many block in their relationships with finally these two getting divorced but remaining friends.

I remember the tagline: kachchi umarr k pakke rishtey and how at one point the boy's father has a dialogue that goes like, "Kachche umarr k rishtey pakke nahi hote."

Why can't they show smth similar in MHRW? Mandaar doesn't need to become negative. Pallavi can get to know him,judge him for what he is, understand his perspective and still choose not to be with him.

People who want Mandy to be negative wants so because there's this notion that since he's her first husband,so he might outshine Raghav in terms of right choice for Pallavi.

Par there's no first or last,ir right and wrong choice. It's all about Pallavi's choice. And Pallavi ki choice kaun hai it's well established. I can sense her ethical dilemma, given that Mandaar is aayi's son. But he's aayi's son and someone she was married to in the past. Not her husband. Not anymore.

@bold -some ppl fear this and some actually have voiced that if he was indeed a nice person she should return to him bcus she was married to him first

Makers can't risk that set of people protesting hence better turn him grey šŸ˜†

Exactly parboni

This is what me and parul were discussing

Its hard for makers to take the route bcus it a mature approach to tell this onscreen

Itv audience wouldn't take it well

Some would protest if she goes to Raghav and rest raghvi fans would be scared that she will choose mandaar

Itv makes its narration very clear -

white = good

Grey = bad

There is nothing else acc to them

Just because she loves him with all his good and bad, and you can’t unlove someone you love!

I really liked what Krishna said "That before Pallavi was attracted to him but now she is totally in love with him, so deep in love that she cannot even think that she is not in his life and without him she is incomplete". Such deep lines that is what true love is. Also Krishna's line " In real life morning starts with your partner's smile". That is love in real life. ā¤ļø This show anything has shown love so realistically,.

this is what we were talking about. Itv is too immature to handle this.

Also alongside other things, if mandaar is a positive character and Ashok’s fans are overpowering - they would start demanding Mandaar-Pallavi and makers will take whatever route TRPs favour.

These are some insecurities makers as well as fans have and hence shuru se hi negative character mandaar ka!

PS- loved what you wrote about Baalika Vadhu. Sounds like a progressive show! šŸ‘

Though I wanted Pallavi to have this realisation herself, but yes, what Krishna said was beautiful!

Exactly!! If Mandar and Pallavi hits right chord then Ashok fans will demand that Pallavi be with Mandar and that will be a disaster and might affect TRP also. Because then the OG fans will riot so CV's will not go that route also today CV's hinted that Mandar may be kind of obsessive from what his friend told and that is not a good character trait and also Ved knewing him before accident and his Hospital disappearance all hint towards a not so good guy. Also Ashok himself told that his character will have grey shade and will sow chaos in Raghvi life.

Balika Vadhu was a good show but the elastic stretching and non sense leaps destroyed the show.

Pallavi herself already realized it but Krishna's push was needed so she can confess . Her break down when Raghav was unconscious was soulful because the words were coming from her soul and a person cannot feel so deeply for someone until he/she realize they are in love.
