Here is my take on the episode. I think by showing how stupid is the idea of Aparna wanting to take part in the best bahu competition, they are trying to imply that Aparna is not as sensible an educated lady as we thought. Not that I am justifying her insults to Imlie in any way. But looks like her understanding about the world, what is right and what is wrong is confined to the ladies in the society she lives in. She doesnt know whats beyond that. And she is not ready to come out of that shell too. I am still trying to figure out how did she impart such great values to her son though..😅. No correlation..but moving on..

Adi and CK voicing how stupid her idea is to take part in the BBC to prove her worth of her bahu is an indication of showing her shallow mindedness. Looks like even Imlie knows the whole point of taking part in it to salvage the image of her sasuma in the society is flimsy. But she is ready to come down as low as Aparna to make her understand that she too can be a "worthy bahu" and class and status are not criterias to judge someone.

I was trying to make sense of it all..just trying to prove myself that we still have hope😅😅✌🏼
