Also show had lot of dynamic, rishi Sujal, sujals mom and him, even Piyush Sujal, Piyush ka mom and Sujal.

I think my first ITV show was Ekta show, I was such a huge fan of Sujal though, he was the epitome of love, and I remember people comparing him with Tulsi-Parvati when popularity was concerned. I tried watching IPK, but Sanaya's hevay breathing, OMG my eyes and ears (no offence to her fans) and the character of Arnav felt more like a sillier version of Sujal (again no offense to anyone), so I just stopped watching. Another sanki male lead was in Rang rasiya, Sanaya was the FL even in that show, but the make lead impressed me so I tolerated her heavy bretahing, but that show was really good, I enjoyed it.

Back when Khaani aired a lot of people were actually rooting for Hadi to get the girl and I found that super disturbing because he not only was a murderer but he also harassed the FL and family. Like you said, his toxicity was disturbing until he started changing. He got the punishment he deserved but he also gained peace. Since you mentioned Deewangi, Danish Taimoor tends to play such roles and excels at them. Another actor who plays such roles is Agha Ali (his Andaaz e Sitam was a role of an obsessed lover if you are into that). Lol I assume you didn't like REB because the ML isn't your typical, hot guy but he is one of the best if not the best actor in the industry. I am like Ishqiya? But then you said it's a guilty pleasure so I gets it. My favourite Feroze Khan show and guilty pleasure is Woh Aik Pal. Feroze is a good guy but he does commit a crime and so his subsequent actions are due to his guilt initially. FL plays a widow with a child.

Since the topic was about Bebakee being a terrible copy of KTH, I suggested the Pakistani version on the first page for people to watch instead. It's called Meer Abru and no it's not Feroze lol, it's Noor Hassan. Both actors in Sujal and Piyush's role are likeable so it's possible to get second lead syndrome.

Kashish is mad, if she thinks taking over business and having an ego clash can lead Sujal in killing his childhood friend, also just before Piyush's death, Sujal-Kashish confrontation in the hotel, Sujal clearly tells her that 'You can F OFF, from today I do not need you or have the need to desire you', I think he had hit rock bottom with all the humiliations. The show's best dynamic was Suja-Rishi, Sujal-Mom and Sujal-akshat, Ekta even ruined that friendship by making Akshat and Sujal half brothers 🥱

Did Kripa actually send a video of her suhagraat? No, I think she puts Angad on call and he listens to all her suhagraat actions over the phone, one of the worst female leads in history, Angad being his dumb self does not even cut the call but breaks the phone once the actions are half way through 🤣

@bold: I do not remember the name but it was a show with 3 brothers, where the female lead is equally dumb and ML kidnaps and force marries her and then calls her rakheil 🤣

Sujal playing along Kashish's revenge saga was probably more about his own guilt too, he felt guilty about his toxic behavior to win piyush's wife, on top of that, he was anyways sanki, kashish it was, he would give her the upper hand anyway, Sujal was way too smart to not understand Kashish's faltu plans.

And no you are not the only one, even I loved Rishi, he was the only one who could put Kashish at her place, I loved his rants especially the day he exposes Kashish, I loved Rishi, I loved Akshat, KTH was a wholesome indeed, one of the most intense and bold love sagas with an amazing cast. It is insane to believe that Ekta made this show especially when you see now a days she makes cartoons like Naagin and stale dramas like bhagyas 😆

iTV was at it's peak in the 2000-2010 phase. The only show I found bearable outside of 2010 was Iss Pyaa Ko which was Gul Mata's show, but I didn't like how physical Arnav got with Khushi most of the times.

After 2010, it's unfortunate how the quality of iTV has gone to the dogs. I mean I cannot believe Gopi Bahu show came after KTH?!😲 KTH had more class in those days, then the shows we see these days, which are a pile of regressive crap. Feels like the more we're progressing in years, the regressive iTV is getting.

Ishqiya is indeed a guilty pleasure, because the female lead (Humna) reminds me of those dumb FL of ITV and Hamza is equally dumb to ruin himself for two sisters consecutively, what I did not like was how Humna was whitewashed which was so unconvincing and also the fact that Hamza-Rumi had some bomb chemistry, everything made me hate Humna so so much

REB I do not know, I feel the male lead is not a hero material, it is not that I want to see a hot male lead, but someone who actually looks endearing, I am sure he must be a very good actor but not someone who could hook me to his acting the way Fawad had done in Humsafar or even Feroze did in Khaani. I also thought that even though Danish is very good looking for some reason I find him OFF in Deewangi, even though he is a good actor, I just do not feel the craze I felt which I did while watching Mir Hadi or an Asher Hussain, it is just me I guess, not the actor.

Feroze's shows seems like always have him in very flawed characters, which kind of increases curiosity, I did not watch Woh Aik Pal yet, but I will definitely watch it, both Woh Aik Pal and Gul E Rana is in my hitlist, as I know Gul E Rana was probably the most toxic show he ever did. However, I feel he is a wonderful actor despite whatever character he is playing onscreen, his upcoming show is with his Khaani costar Sana Javed again, and I believe the iconic pairing is yet again going to be worth a watch, I am liking KAM3 but I think I am more excited about the upcoming show now. I think Danish's current show has him in another sanki role again, but I will watch it only if I can finish watching Deewangi, and in this show the FL is very irritating I swear

Thank You, I will definitely watch Meer Abru then, at least try and watch it depending on how my interest is hooked, but I am glad it is not Feroze again because most naqaam ashiq roles have Feroze coincidentally . Bebakee trailer i watched, what bad acting that is, why is Ekta ruining her classic and mocking Rajeev and Aamna's legendary performances? Recently she rebooted Kasauti and even though Parth and Erica were good, the story was shit. IPK, well I know how rabid the fans could get, but I do not hate sanaya, I am just not into female leads heavy breathing you know, in terms of female leads my favorites from ITV are Durga from Ek hasina Thi, Vividha from Jana dil se door (I equally loved Atharva too) and from Pak shows my favorite FLs are Kashaf from ZGH, Bano from Dastaan, Khaani from Khaani.

I appreciated Khaani so much for that very reason; the fact that Khaani never felt anything for Hadi at any point because his crime was so big. This was no mistake or accident, it was cold blooded murder. Then there's the fact that Hadi harassed and humiliated the entire family and stalked Khaani. Khaani started out as a weak FL and you wouldn't expect her to become a courageous woman willing to face powerful people. Some people would lose all their strength after a death of a loved one and this was Khaani's twin brother! Instead Khaani becomes stronger! Even when she starts loving her secret admirer she is able to get over it upon finding out his identity. Hadi got his redemption once he let go of Khaani, admitted to his crimes, and accepted his fate. Once he stopped directing his energy towards his love for Khaani and instead directed it towards loving God he found his peace. It wouldn't have had the same impact if Khaani had fallen in love and accepted him. Feroze and Sana did a romcom together after Khaani but it did not get that kind of fame so we can't say for sure if their new show will be worth it.

Woh Aik Pal was reuploaded by Hum but muted in places so it's hard to watch due to that. Apparently it's on MX Player so if you have access to that you can watch it there. Gul e Rana was super toxic so I could never like it. I hate shows with toxic men (or women) who don't get their comeuppance. Imran Ashraf (REB) was also in that show. So many people did not like Imran before for that same reason, that he did not look like hero material and I am like you gotta give him a chance. Anyways, he was in some shows that gained popularity and people ended up loving him. My favourite show of Danish is Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai (it was popular too) where he was the ML but not the hero and it was after this show that he played a similar role in Deewangi. Oh if you like male centric shows especially involving a flawed, arrogant ML with a redemption arc then try Dushman e Jaan.

Yes to Durga of EHT! I did not watch JNDSD so can't say but there have been some strong FLs. Too bad it's always on shows that don't get ratings. Pakistani shows have a lot of great FLs so I wouldn't be able to name any. Although an amazing show, I am not a big fan of ZGH because I found it problematic, both ML and FL. I loved Bano and Khaani though. Do tell me if you try Meer Abru.

I just don't understand why we need remakes of shows that were complete? These shows ran for years, were stretched like no tomorrow and then completed. Why do we need more of them? Why do we need sequels or reboots? Why ruin their legacy? I adore Rajeev so having someone like Kushal playing that role is shocking and a complete downgrade.
