I really was looking for rejection and debates over some sensible issues with T’s behaviour (at least Pankaj-Aparna) giving glimpses of Aaditya’s upbringing that made him the truth hailing fearless reporter he is. I really had that hope coz they hv shown that in case of Imlie, Imlie is what she is coz of SK - Mithi’s upbringing. But now I think Aadi inke ghar kaise paida hogaya?

There are things which really can be debated like Aadi Imlie are at different stages of life so parents worried about marriage between such people can halt one of their lives or may be Imlie at her age should invest her energies in building base for her future and not in fighting social pressures that family can not avoid if their marriage gets out. I would have accepted even class difference issues if they had played it a little subtle, non abusive ways as with senior T’s generation it’s not easy to digest such radical change. But nahi ITV will go the ghisa pita OTT way only yet thinking what they present is organic😑

May be now they should succeed in separating Aadilie which like every single time before would lead to some life threatening situation for Aaditya and then Apu to beg Imlie to come and save her son. If reason doesn’t make them accept reality, the force of bhagya will (which always has been a key player in Aadilie story so far)

Exactly. I think all of us knew that the truth coming out would be a milestone and it would change a lot of things. Resistance would be there and to an extent even opposition would have been understood. But this almost vitriolic reaction is what is really putting people off.

I have always maintained that this reaction is not surprising for me in any way. I again maintain that neither do I support it or justify it, but yes I understand it. The reason is that even today there are families like this, where as long as someone who is of a lower class is friends or even almost like family, the minute they threaten the structure by falling in love with someone in the family, it becomes difficult for the family to accept that union. Class and caste is still prevalent, not just here but everywhere. People find it very difficult to accept that their child chose a partner who does not fit into the mold they make in their head. Malini fit that mold, so she was okay. Also she was a good specimen to flaunt to the world as their son's wife. Imlie is young, from a village and was working with them as a "naukrani", though they never called her that, because they never treated her as such. But when faced with the choice between Malini & Imlie for their son, they would prefer to choose Malini as it is the easier and glittering choice. But like they say all that glitters is not gold. Malini just looks shiny on the outside but is hollow inside. Imlie looks dull outside, but is solid gold on the inside.

I know their path to redemption will be difficult to watch, as things will get much worse before they get any better. But it will get better and we will see them redeem themselves. But will we be able to forgive them in this process - I don't know and really can't say.

she should've picked up on Adityas statments on both occasions that she came by.. he tells her my family doesnt know but you know the truth ... you should've understood that I will never call for you... though he stopped at understood the continuation was what he actually meant to say that day... then again this week when he says why are you here and his expression very clearly said he did not like her coming there... phir kaahe ki 7 saal ki dosti if you cannot understand what your friend meant.

Imlie trying and getting disappointed is sad... but even sadder was sundar was in blue... apparently the color of the day!

I still think that senior mr Tripathi will be the first wicket in Imlie's court. he's gonna be the first one to understand and support. he doesn't have a problem with her being a Naukrani coz he hasn't said anything like that yet .. he's called her yeh ladki is ladki but also thinks Adi is not really in love ... the day he realises Adi loves her and to what extent, his full support will be for Imlie.

Badke kaka, radha ji, aparna ji can then go take a long hike.

I loved KCs sense of humor... when asked where's Malini coz Anu assumed she was with him, he turns over his pocket. 🤣🤣🤣

Adi explaining why he wants to fight this battle rather than retreat for some time to Imlie hopefully convinced her...

A thought just crossed my mind, donno if that was addressed here before..So AC never used to miss a single chance to berate the Tripathi's when the AM marriage was going on, similar to how the Tripathi's are currently treating Imlie today as everyone must have noticed by now.

My point is that the Ts have tasted their own medicine from the hands of Anu and YET here they are behaving 100 times worse with Imlie who is just a girl of 19, making it all the more worse! They know exactly how she is feeling, but there is no empathy, nothing! Either this is bad writing, or they are doing this for OTT drama or actually the Ts are worse than AC.

What I now see is a group of well educated grown ups torturing a simple small town girl who had to go through a forced marriage, get separated to an unknown place from her mother for the sole reason that she fell in love with their son. 😕

Seems Adi had already decided to introduce her as his wife in college(may be bcoz of ink incident) as when asked sorry kisliye he said issliye bhi jo hum karne ja rahe hai... n later he got perfect opening with Mudikhayi topic.

Adi's reasoning about not hiding anymore about their marriage scene was niceiy done. so, fortunately we got two good Adilie scene.❤️

Continuity ka dhyan rakha tha toh time ka bhi rakh lete..it has to be atleast 48 hours nothing less than that.. 24 hrs pehle toh Apu Imlie ko ghar se nikal rahi thi.

Anyways...Now, This has turned into fight against classist mentality of the society. Nobody is trying to learn how n why these things happened. Sab nauakrani, najayaaz mein atke pade hai. I am patiently waiting that eventually we will get a episode where Tripathi's will learn entire truth n circumatances around Adilie's wedding.

yeah eventually they will turn around, apologies and accept but as you had said in some earlier post we viewers don’t have amnesia 😜 so will be tough to connect with senior T’s on same level as before.

It’s like they drained out every last drop of sympathy for M from many viewers by tossing her character all over the place, and now M on screen has no impact for me.

Senior T’s would land in similar zone.
