I think it’s an defense mechanism that Shiva’s adopted to keep his feeling away and to keep Raavi away from him.

Bold - I agree, he is trying to giver her a way out. If Raavi starts introspecting and not make a tamasha every time like Dhara said, she will soon catch on to what Shiva is upto and will beat him in his own game. I want to see this Raavi who says I won’t leave (adhellam vida mudiyadhu) say it in such a way that he won’t have an answer for her.

Agreed on Shiva's defense mechanism. It's like he thinks that if he yells loudly that her opinions don't matter, maybe both of them will believe it.

But still, is that really going to deter Raavi? Dekha jaaye, she's actually really used to it and still keeps nagging him. She's chipkali, itni asani se nahi chodegi 😆
